Hi guys,
It's Southern Lights 2009 announcement time
Firstly, the dates are 12-14th June.
We have a new site on the grounds of a beautiful stately home in a little village called Kimmeridge on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, we know that very few of you will have heard of it so we have organised an electronic map!
There is so much happening and the best way to keep up to date with what's going on is to check out our shiny new website at www.southernlightsfestival.co.uk
We will endeavour to answer questions and comments that you leave for us but the best way to get your questions answered is to use the contact page on the website.
Have a wonderful winter and spring and we'll see you in SUMMER!!!

The show was really good.
Maybe a little short, one or two more acts perhaps, but the quality was outstanding.
Wes knocked everyone's socks off, Tim looked fantastic and it was a great act, and Rob's was also great.
I like these multi-prop acts.

it was a seriously good event the shows and the workshops were all top stuff.

Thank you for a lovely weekend all, I think I am recovered due to my lie-in this morning, but the sunburn is a dead give away that I spent way too much time frolicking and not enough time being responsible, which is perfect. Awesome site, the view was amazing!

Sunday morning was one of the best of my life.
Being woken up by Monty Python songs, opening a tent to blazing hot sunshine, a beautiful view and a field of smiling friends was awesome.

Being that close to the sea was lovely, the sunshine was lovely, the people were lovely, the whole thing was ace.
I think I was especially impressed with the lovely showers!!

Sadly, I'm pretty rubbish at words but I would like to thank everyone involved for helping Southern Lights evolve into the beast it now is. We're going to have a couple of weeks off and start with the planning for next year, well, by a couple of weeks off, that means I've only spoken to Si 5 times today as opposed to the 20+ times a day for the last month or so!
We are really proud to have heard so many nice things said about Southern Lights but it's nothing without the support of everyone involved.
Our crew were absolutely stunning and we are so pleased to have learned the lesson of delegation.
The villagers have shown some great support for Southern Lights so things are looking good for remaining at the same stunning site which I'm sure everyone enjoyed.
One last thing...
Please could people upload photos to our flickr account so everyone can see them?
