Akil(as I shorten my name).. Aki (as some of my ppl choose to call me) or Aks (another ultra short form I devised myself)

Location: India (Chennai city, Tamil Nadu)

A typical capricorn. I am a dentist in training and shortly (very shortly) to be registered as a dentist.

But, practice is not in my mind now, since getting into higher studies is MY priority. I am preparing to take exams for the same and interestingly I am going to take my exam on my B'day next month in January!

Interests, I love reading books, juggling, trekking, camping and out door activities, have a passion for anything artistic and challenging. I am playing down everything for the sake of my first priority - Higher studies.

For the same reason, I do not know how active I can be but the site was so tempting and had some discussions about activities in India which I had been searching for quite some time. Thanks to FireTom whose post on "Indian Juggling Convention" actually helped me find this forum.

I wish to be active soon ...

Right now, I am not seeing movies, or reading any other books except my own subject. My relaxation is interacting with colleagues or friends for few precious moments and throwing balls around (trying to juggle, eh!). And yes, I do play with my nephew and niece (4 and 2 1/2 yrs old kids respectively!)

Nothing significant or special about me to add at present but, I hope to be able to, in future!

Regards,
Aks

I re-read what I posted and realised how much I seem to be 'obsessed' with higher studies!!! lol

Sorry if I bored you all with that dumb introduction but still, I am happy I atleast introduced myself and yes, re-reading my own post made me realise what I should be doing now!!

I am off for preparation.

Good day and happy and safe fire play.

Regards,
Aks

welcome aboard mate!
I rather enjoyed your post, contrary to what you thought. I believe that learning is the only way to get ahead in life. When you stop learning you stop growing and experiencing new things.
I hope you like nutella and not vegemite or the vegemite copy, marmite? Important question on here.

Cheers!

Thanks for your wishes ... and I am sure we should find time for passions as much as we are passionate about our professions smile

Thanks for the encouragement

P.S: If I am not replying it just means I am not logging in enough ... bear with me please. Thanks for understanding and I am already feeling at home in this pleasant forum! Thank you all!
