Poi in the park at south glade field nottingham, ng5 5lt.
Its a day for spinning etc, it starts at 2pm and all ages are welcome!
In the evening aswell there will be a party! which is on a byob basis.
Plenty of crash space for those that aren't from the area.

I really want to go to this. Had so much fun last summer visiting people in Notts. But this is just after I plan on moving to the Netherlands, so could be difficult to make. Will call you in a few weeks Lauz

well thats my street postcode. i assure you its not in the middle of a farm. the other option is to look up southglade leisure centre in nottingham as its the very big mass amounts of fields next to that.

Also for anyone who is coming there will be a buffet prepared as it will be along day. Just need to know if there's any special dietary needs so i have something for everyone.
Should be fun, got quite a few people coming from different places. would be good to see more HoPpers coming along though

Could you make it June
but not clashing with Strawberry Fair, Southern Lights and I'm not sure which of the last two weekends I can make yet either... oh well. It wasn't a serious suggestion anyway although if you held one while I was there I'd be happy to teach workshops...

I plan on doing more than just this one so if you let me know what dates you can make it would be good to have one then, workshops is a good idea as have lots of people coming who want to learn various things, plus i've gotten as far as i can get on my own now lol, i need some technique training i think

i may not be able to come to this afterall - my sister has invited me to join her high peak club on a camping weekend to borrowdale, and it'd be really nice to spend some time with her cause i don't get to see her very often. I was prepared to do a workshop as well! o well - maybe next time

I'd have come but by 2pm I'll have been playing paintball for 4 hours over 70 acres with over 1000 other people with another 2-3 hours left to go.
This is all after the previous night spent drinking copious amounts of alcohol and hopefully some spinning a bit earlier (before the alcohol). Oh and not forgetting watching films on my teams own outdoor cinema. Oh yeah, it's also the teams 1 year anniversary so gonna be a pretty big event

Yes some people want to learn some poi and also contact juggling and normal juggling and well i'm up for everything

well i can help out with very basic cj, and basic juggling.
would you just want a begginers style poi workshop? or any particular family of moves? maybe a flowers one?
can also do some basic contact staff stuff aswell

I think beginners style poi as there's a fair few beginners there, Oh a flowers one would be good too, i really need to get better at that.

About twenty mins on the bus, 40 mins on foot, and about 15 mins in the car.
If your here a bit earlier i could meet you off the train as can get someone to stay on the park if that makes it easier

So far seems to be more of a large gathering, its the first one so not really sure what to expect as i have also gave out extended invites so potentially more people will turn up.

really looking forward to this, even tho sligtly sketchy about taking a workshop, as its going to be quite experimental. not sure how it will go down. and i might be fragile as im going to a party in buxton the night before (pm if you want details

you can get the number 16 from town. ask for the stop just after south glade leisure centre, or look out for the big blue slide and get off the stop after that. and should hopefully be lots of people gathered spinning on the field so will be easy to spot
