howdy all...!!
myself and a few mates are missing the absence of a regular fire gathering in brissie, so... as of next tuesday, 23rd october, we'll be doing so, as follows...
Location: Mowbray Park, Lytton Road, East Brisbane
When: Tuesday; from dusk till whenever
Transport: CityCat and ferry terminal pick-up point.

Hi everyone.
After doing my minion scouting mission i've found the best place would be just to the right of the parking lot on park avenue.
You can catch the 230, 231, 235 or 236 buses from the city, get off at the end of heidelberg st. near the Spar supermarket , walk past the spar and the park is on the other side of the road (have a look at the map if that was too confusing)
Hope to see some of you there.

Eventually..
Got Guyatt park and Mowbray park mixed, so didn't get there till late, then couldn't find anyone..
Then I assumed it was a trap, so left.

well... what an absolutely beautiful place to spend an evening. I can't understand why we didn't get something going there, sooner (yes nathan, I know you suggested it *ages* ago).
right on the river, with a perfect aspect; plenty of open, flat ground for spinning. kiddie playground nearby, bbqs and a pretty good procession of passers-by including aforementioned korean cheer squad.
shame you couldn't make it down, joel... but... we'll be back there next week!!

Oh, we'll get some people in there...you haven't met me, yet...I'm good for pulling in passers-by...they look, I hand them a toy...I've already gotten quite a few new hoopers and such for our Funky Friday gathering that we have in my area...people want to try new things, they're just afraid to ask...but we'll solve that!!!

Good night, ok i lost some hair and have a bruise where a contact staff hit me in the head. But apart from that it was cool.
