Just a quick 'hello' to introduce myself.
I'm a complete and utter newbie to poi.
I'm hoping to increase my ability and reduce the amount of bumps 'n bruises currently occuring.
I live in Nuneaton with my wife and son. We have just started going to the Nuneaton Juggling Club, after seeing them perform in town recently.
As soon as I saw poi being twirled I knew that was what I wanted to do, so here I am.

A bit more detail to my previous brief introduction:
Name: Neil
Location: UK
Hometown: Nuneaton
DOB: 12 Nov 1970 (yes,yes, I know I'm getting on a bit)
Age: 36
Sex: M
Occupation(s): IT Database Administrator (for my sins)
Favorite Food(s): Pizza/Curry/Chinese
Favorite Color(s): Don't have one, but I do favour black clothes.
Toys: Techics PR602 piano and my beloved hi-fi.
Hobbies: Started playing piano again after giving up (stupidly) 25 years ago and Shaolin Kung fu.
Education: Not a lot. Didn't manage to get to college.
Favorite Book(s): Anything about martial arts or anything by James Herbert. (Domain wa my favourite one of his).
Favorite Movie(s): Napoleon Dynamite, Breakdance, Wedding Singer.
Favorite TV show(s): Lost, My Name Is Earl, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 of 10...., etc, etc.
Plans for life in general: Keep my family happy.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Howard Jones, The Cure, Beethoven, George Benson, Stevie Wonder. I like most stuff apart from 'country and western'.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Don't care as long as it's ice cream. :o)
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.)
