I was fed up with being indoors, don't know anyone here and have no money to get anywhere so jumped on my Mums bike and went for a ride to the park in town. It was fab, the sun was shining, the trees looked lovely, I was listening to my fave tunes. I haven't been to the park since I was kid and it was kinda wierd - the stage where I watched ASWAD and Curiosity Killed the Cat play when I was at college looked so much smaller than I remember and the roller skating rink where I grazed my knees is now a skate park with ramps and bars, the adventure playground where we used to hang out, get drunk and muck about at the end of term is still there but the maze I knew like the back of my hand isn't and the big tyres you can fit 6 people on have gone too, replaced by shiny new things. So my best bit - a walk down memory lane and then some poi practise in the park - perfect!!! smile

Life moves pretty fast and if you don't stop and look around once in a while you just might miss it!

Today, so far, and also will be, one of the greatest days.

After relaxing with some green tea and some Enya playing, my mind is set straight.

Today is my angel's and my 5th (month) Anniversary. I planned something sweet. I did a pastel artwork, it took me about a week, but it looks beautiful. Possibly my best work. I framed the picture and engraved an imense love note on the back. Approx 1,200 words. I can't wait to see the smile on her face.

Also, its a sunday - time to unwind and get myself back to working, so I'm going to write some more.

hug's to all! I hope each day for each HoPer reaches its peak of both happiness and love!

Best thing today? Erm .. nothing amazingly great has happened ..
But it's been a good day.. It's the simple things that make it good. Like:
Doing forwards (and backwards) rolls down a HUGE hill smile
Relaxing on the grass with friends.
Getting a massage ... smile
Well, it hasn't happened yet, but I have dance rehearsals tonight which is generally fun.
Yep, the simple things are fun.
