I've completely gotten obsessed with the new show Heroes, about ordinary people (like junkies and webcam strippers
) who develop superpowers. It's kind of a cross between X-Men and Lost. There've only been three episodes but I'm hooked, hooked, hooked. Anyone else seen it and want to geek out? Has it even aired outside the States yet?EDITED_BY: _khan_ (1162506395)

The first one I watched was Ep 5 or 6 round a friends. But I didn't want to watch anymore unless I started from the beginning...
My flatmate has downed all broadcasted episodes, watched them. Now I've watched from Episode 1-3 in order and thanks to the hiatus I have until Jan to catch-up

And no, he doesn't remind me of Doc actually.
Anyone see that the kid playing Peter Petrelli is in the new Rocky movie as Sly's son? That resemblence is freakish.
Anyway. It's going to drive me batty until Jan 22.
This is the only show I watch with any amount of ferver and regularity.
And the whole hanger with Peter's dream...oh my gods!!!!
It's on sci-fi again at 7 and I think I may need to watch it just to make sure I have it right in my head.
And, may I add, holy crap on the Eden front? And on the Clare thing. I'd be so pissed at my dad if I were her.

I agree with you Mand about Sylar. It is interesting but creepy. That actor does a bit too well! lol

Peter's dream/vision thing...oh my gods indeed! I do wish we'd get some clarity on how his dreams tie in with his "borrowing" ability.
The Eden thing took me by surprise...and Sylar looked kind of surprised also. Clare's situation breaks my heart. I felt soooooo sad after that last conversation with Zach. And I'm dying to know the secret the Haitian was going to tell her...but that's the nature of secrets I suppose, especially in a context like this.
I can't wait this long!! The only thing tiding me over is having past episodes on my hard drive, and knowing when the show comes back on I'll be watching it in my new apartment!

Ok! Caught up now after a PC rebuild
As far as Peter's dream is concerned, is it possible he absorbs the power of the nuclear dude and like him can't keep it under wraps.....especially if there is emotional tension involved.
The flashback episode shows (and confirms) that some of them seem to have a hard time controlling their powers when they are under pressure. Peter Petrelli blowing up at his brother before he could absorb the flight, Nathan lofting out of the car when under attack, Hiro jumping out when he's about to get it on and of course nuclear dude.
RE: Sylar always being a nut job, i actually am not sure about that. I think he's a lonely nerdy guy who once he finds out he could be special starts to come unravelled. We all would want to be special like that, he just handles it perhaps a bit differntly than most......by going on a murderous spree.

I didn't see Nicki/Jessie as being blatant hottie material, it seemed like they were trying to emphasised her f*cked-up ness (something Ali Larter always plays) in a person who could make it as a webcam stripper...

I think definitely the hottest girl on the show (but maybe it's because she reminds me of my hairdresser, who I always had a secret crush on!). Strangely enough, I prefer her as Jessie to Nicki.
Her husbands pretty hot too.
In the first few episodes, I would've said the male hottie award went to Isaac, but I don't think he's as cute once he got clean (nothing to do with the drugs- just how he looked).
Claire? Definitely NOT!!!

Claire & Micah? Wow what a bunch of cradle-robbers we have here.
Though I have to admit the scene with Claire & Peter in Peter's cell made me feel a little dirty. 
My votes are for junkie Isaac and Peter. I'm a sucker for tortured emo boys, what can I say. D.L is awfully pretty too, but when I see him I keep remembering him as Forest in season 4 of Buffy who turned out to be such a jerk and I keep holding it against him even though that was a completely different fictional universe!

and I can separate the characters, especially when we last saw Forrest he was a human/demon cyborg who got blown up with a gas tank Peter was high up there once but he got too whiny...

Don't know if any of you have looked at the online comics, but a new character was introduced in the comics that is apparently going to make an appearance on the show. I don't want to say anything further in case no-one has read it, but it's a pretty useful power though I wouldn't necessarily want it.
I'm so stoked for the 22nd. What's up with Peter? What's going to happen with Niki and what do she, DL and Micah have to do with anything? What was the secret the Haitian told Claire?
My big speculative prediction is that Mr. Linderman will turn out to be Mr. Bennett's boss and bankrolling the whole operation.
