Did anyone (UK) see it last night?

What a bloody letdown!!!

I watched half the first series and lost interest due to nothing ever happening, then started watching again this series when there was a bit of action.

i know, i know, it has to lead to the next series, but where was the big boom?, or another plane crashing?, or sylvester stallone with an uzi? or.... or...or....

I stayed up till midnight to see something spectacular!

The lost producers have been knocked off my christmas card list again....

horses for courses - i loved it myself biggrin

the big boom was accompanied by a 'revalation' of sorts - that being that we saw three people that were not on the island - for the first time the outside world is acknowledged.

that put paid to a bunch of the theories that were knocking around during the screening of season two.

can't wait to see episode one of series three next week!!! bounce2

yeah, i am so jj abrams' bitch ubblol

I never really caught onto 'Lost'. Only ever watched it when round at my friends. Yes I saw the final episode. Months ago. Seems kinda pointless watching the rest of the series now that I know what I know now. (I'm very much a continuity and cliffhanger twists bitch)

I LOVED 'Alias' though I only managed to watch the first 2 seasons completely.

Had little desire to see 'Mission: Impossible III'.

I had a brief but passionate affair with JJ Abrahms but now I only ever say 'hi' when I'm at a party...

I will always be holding out for Joss Whedon... ubblove

Here here, Joss rules. I can't believe they cancelled Firefly, that was one of the best shows I've ever seen. frown Still, Serenity rocked

I was addicted to the first season of Lost, but missed too much of the second, so I've been avoiding it till the box set comes out.

Was anyone able to read the hieroglyphics on the countdown clock in the computer room of the hatch? And what exactly happened when Desmond turned the key - is that the electromagnetic force shut off for good? I actually enjoyed the ending of the series, for every mystery solved there's been another question raised. The statue with four toes. The phone call to Desmond's girlfriend. And what exactly are the Others all about? I'm developing a theory about Lost, but I'll hold back just now and see what other folk think.

Well I've been pretty much addicted to Lost since it started: it was a bit tough to watch at first, but now I'm completely obsessed. I found the last 2 episodes a real shock: especially the stuff about des.

Also we still have to hear about:
1) more hatches
2) the animals (or do you think that's down to Walt?)

Because ActiveAngel sounds like a feminine deodorant

Like sex, I'm much more interesting in real life than online.

when desmond turned the key, it 'broke the dam'.

if we are to believe what we've been told, the purpose of the button was to safely purge the em radiation.

now the em source is not held back and purged every 108 minutes but instead just pours out all the time.

this may be the 'signal' that desmond's bird's dudes in the snowy listening outpost detected...

maybe the island won't be quite as invisible now...? umm

One of my favourite books, "The Third Policeman" by Flann O'Brien is seen in the library when we first see Desmond leaving the hatch at the start of the second series. The guy who wrote the episode was quoted as saying that the book gives clues to the mysteries in the programme. Curiously though, the obvious assumption from that ( I won't say in case you haven't read the book) has been discounted.

I personally loved the finale. Next series is due to start real soon I believe. I can't wait.

Off topic for a bit....
Anyone who hasn't yet seen a show called 'Heroes' needs to IMMEDIATELY.

Just started a week or 2 ago but is about people discovering they have some unique powers. Like a japanese comic book geek who believe he can manipulate the space time continuum (sp?), a cheerleader with regenerative powers, an artist who can paint images of the future but only when he's high on smack, a cop who can read peoples thoughts and a dude who believes he can fly.

2 episodes in and all the makings of a fantastic series. Anyone who has enjoyed lost or is even remotely in to super heroey type deals needs to check itout. Heartily recommended.
