so i wouldn't normall go about posting threads on tennis, or indeed sport all that much, neverthless i am being lazy and avoiding doing things that i should be doing, and i was watching the men's wimbledon final yesterday... and have come to the conclusion that Rafael Nadal is a real-live anime character...

he even walks like he should be in an anime film, with purpose and a quite cross look on his face...
It occurs to me a poll would've been good on this post, but i forgot. so hands up if you agree that this man has actually escaped from the 2 dimensional realm and found himself fighting the evil spirits (shaped like day-glo yellow balls) at Wimbledon....

I think he could play on it a little, maybe by shouting the name of the shot as he plays it
... nothing makes a technique more effective in anime than shouting what you're doing as you do it...
