I'm not sure how many would be interested in this, but the World Yo-yo Contest is coming up in August in Orlando, Florida.
The main reason that I bring this up is that a lot of the Japanese yo-yo players will be there and they do many poi moves in their two-handed routines. If you live in the area, it may be worth it to come and exchange ideas on especially hyperloop/tangler type stuff. Like I'd posted this last year:
