Most of the time Im a bewildered illustration student but a few weeks ago i picked up the poi that had been gathering dust in my cupboard since glastonbury 2005 and after learning a few moves, they have taken hold and now i cant put them down!! still very clumsy though! im using tennis balls for now til i get a bit better.
Anyway im going to go and make the most of the sun, pleased to meet you!!

i went to strawberry fair last year, what a great day... apart from the fact i had to nurture two people for most of it, one had done too much NO2 out of balloons and had a migraine and the other had drunk half a bottle of absinthe and went a funny shade of yellow... i'll definately have more of a wander this year and seek out the poi wizards smile smile smile

hiya.

Sock poi are unreal. Or cone poi. Tennis balls and string tangle and annoy me.

Go for sock poi....

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

aaah yes i see the badger, and infact the one next to it, first on the bottom row, looks like 2 badgers snuggling, or post-glomp, and im very jealous of your drawy-ability!....BOTH of you!!

That's kind of how i explain my art too. Basically it's just copying stuff and making sure you colour between the lines biggrin

Those badgers were designs for a girl that wanted a badger tattoo. She paid me in beer... Which was nice of her but i really would've preferred cash...

The stuff i do is very poster-arty, and usually twisted... recently i did an illustration for 'Mary had a little lamb' except mary is a bunny skater and she wore a dead lamb as a rucksack with zips sewn into its head. Gently mental. tongue
I wouldnt mind being paid in beer, as long as its belgian and at least 6 percent num num beerchug

wow!!! i'd love to see that!! getting paid in beer would be good, but yeah i'd have to agree money would be better, cos that way you get to buy beer, but also food and food is good and stuff.

now if it were cider that'd be different biggrin
