Thats because Pilton sounds too much like stilton, pillock and pilchard.
Glastonbury only sounds like Asstonbury and Glassonbrie.
Michael Eavis had to change the name after the first year beacuse no one wanted to goto the Pillock, Stilton or Pilchard festival.

The thing about falmouth/gwithian whatever you bloody well wanna call it is that it isn't a formal meet.
We have workshops mainly to motivate ourselves into doing stuff, but as far as shows go, officially no we don't.
However, there are always people there performing in one way or another and some people tend to do something a little bit special at each one aswell.
Out of interest....would anybody like to perform? If so I'm soure something could be arranged???

its in a camp site with other families. so it is a shhh rule really in the evenings. plus were all down on a beach which is tidal so it would be very impractical. if you want a rave or as close you you can there is a club in turo called L2 which is about a 30 minute drive away. they do good friday nights.
