27/28/29 May 2006 @the level from about 14:00 each day
2007- Easter weekend spin.CANCELLED!
7/8/9 April 2007 @ the west pier on Brighton Beach from about 16:00/17:00 each day. Watch this space, a date in the warmer months is being discussed.
4/5 August- Brighton Gay Pride
As we do every year we all mostly go in fancy dress and normally set up a little base in Preston park where we also have a bit of a spin, right in the middle of teh festivities. Unlike last year the poi stall will be back again this year, so we will more likely be near there. Any out-of-towners comming and need a place to crash please let me know beforehand. The Fair in the park is on from 12-8pm on the saturday and there is also an over-night free party on the beach which people may be interested in , but most don't know about

The plan is to spin in the usual place on the beach by the west pier (the old burnt-down one)each afternoon from about 4/5. If the weather/wind doesn't hold out we will go back to the level, if it rains,I'm not even going to leave my house.
We have crashing space for out-of-towners, but you need to let me know if you are comming beforehand please.
I can also provide directions for all those who require it.
Bring snacks/drinks/toys/fun.

I have to go round my old flat and pay my gas bill and pick my clothes up what I've left there, so I probably be back 118 at about 6:00

If anyone requires directions/times etc, you best have them by tomorrow as we are still not online at home, and once I leave work at 4.00 tomorrow, you will only be able to get hold of us by mobile. Most of you have my number already, those that may need it, ask me to PM you.

looking forward to seeing you, if its raining we just have to chill at ours but Sunday and Monday are suppose to be nice Colourful but not very bright.

was it you guys who were on telly last night? there was some crappy dating show on and they went to what looked like a park with skate park and stuff attatched to it. there was a sectioned off spinning area with loads of spinners in it, was it you guys?

loads of spinners?!?! This meet only had about 8 spinners + 1 ickle child (Dominic). IT was probably some other people, although i do remember a skate park near the place we were spinning.

We were talking about arranging another one, but I aint hanging around in the cold again.Clapham was pretty much all the cold I can handle. I'm thinking a weekend of dvd's and warmth, pub and pie (I want to make pies)sometime though. Sam is thinking of coming in the first two weeks of January if your interested?

'twas definately brighton. must be some randoms or summat. it was obviously a summers day, and there was loads of skaters around, and there was a cordonedoff area with spinners in it. looked mainly like poi spinners. ah well, just wondered if you guys had become famous!

It was more than likely the trickswap workshop guys methinks, they run workshops and stuff in the summertime.

The baby Lee and I will be in London again to see Placebo on the 9th. If you arn't doing anything, why don't we meet for a couple of drinks beforehand? Moving back to topic, I've gotten a few PM's from some peeps interested in a Brighton spin. There will be no more this year unfortunately (I can't handle the cold- Yes I know I'm a wimp- so am reluctant to try and organise one this year).
I promise that as soon as winter is done with and the weather starts to get better that I will update this thread with monthly or bi-monthly spin info. Fire on the beach seems to be in order.I look forward to seeing you all there next year.

Hello
I just got back from Guildford spin, lovely people and I hurt lotsI learned a couple more tricks and 1 is just a really impressive halo
i could probably teach you blu in about 5 minutes, then you just need to practice.3 weeks till we come and see you blu
A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.
