Like's been mentioned before, there will be meat and dairy aswell! So we can cater for ALL diets.
And i think the Vegan alternative to Turkey is Nut Roast.

put me as a possible, especially if i come for a couple of days, would be excellent spending xmas with you lot, but i have some issues to sort before i decide, my family is very complicated lol and my mum wants to start the whole 'mass family together night' which would be funny

right.. I was waiting for someone to object to that...
meaning you have to come to our family on Christmas day, and constantly berate us for the way we have done the cooking and washing up at Christmas since before I was born
besides.. It was only a suggestion..

think it is a bit late to try and book somewhere....also probably be bit expensive. But thanks to skully it seems the back up space plans are already in place.
As for the cooking vs washing up type thing.... i think we girlies should cook then get to chill out and drink whilst them men folk tidy up our mess.
And yes Will there can be yorkshire puddings...( although i love them too so need to try and veganise a recipe- don't worry tho you can have normal ones.)
So I am thinking that sort of by the endish of November (do you like the vagueness) it would be nice to have a list of people who are definate and who are most probably and who are a little bit maybe wanting to come, so some sort of arranging can begin...ie... who will need beds for when and feeding when etc

would love to make it but i have im going to mali on the 28th of december and have to see my family before i go. plus im not a fan of nut roast and my mum makes the bestest turkey dinner ever and after 3 months of university cuisine, thats just what a girl needs

Possibly, there'll be a knife sharp enough to carve turkey, and I'm sure it can be put to other, less orthodox uses.
Wether anyone would eat the turkey carved with that knife afterwards, that's a different matter
