Its been bothering me.. a poll in the pub has not been enlightening either.
Where and how exactly do birds sleep at night? I believe they 'roost'...but do they all have nests..or do they just pick a branch and perch? And do they hang on with their feet and stay upright all night...or do they lie down sideways (!) and curl up? Ive never seen a sleeping bird....

Tomorrows World isnt on anymore...Does that mean its tomorrow now?

Depends on the bird... Woodpeckers sleep in a hollow in a tree, others build nests, others stand on branches and sleep, others sit on the ground and sleep.

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

I may disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Play calming music to them. It may help to keep them asleep for a little bit longer.

My parrot, cockatiels and kakarikis sleep standing on one leg (on a perch) with their heads turned around so their beaks rest on their back.

My canary does the same as catalyst's and star's birds smile Although he's getting ancient, and sometimes he falls off frown
