Hi, My name is Rickard and I'm 17 years old (I turn 18 in September). I live in Stockholm, Sweden.

I started to spin poi the last summer but i just did it every ones in a while, this summer i have been practicing pretty much, up to 40 mins a day.
When i dont spin poi I often hang around with some friends, spending time in front of the computer or study (not that often though wink )

My goal this summer (or whats left of it anyway) is that i wanna try fire poi, I feel pretty secure with the small amount of tricks i can do.

Hejsan and welcome Ricky! wave

40 minutes a day is great- you'll be doing fire in no time. It's not as scary as you think! Good idea to have a small audience too- you know.. to prevent you running into the house, panicking because you're on fire and setting the whole place ablaze wink

You'll be fine biggrin Let us know how it goes! And take pics!

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Well, i haven't read that much about the fire safety but i have watched a couple of videos about it. I hope it wil work out alright, otherwise i'll be wearing a hockeymask till the day i die :P

My friends girlfriend is going to have some kind of poi-show and after that show i might be able to try it out with fire, really looking forward to that smile

when i dont spin poi i study, going my last year at the gymnasium (like a smaller version of college). when i'm done with that i'll probably get a job and move away from my folks as fast as possible wink

I didn't think anyone was reading the introduction forum, I feel very happy that you guys proved me wrong! Take care.
