For that I give him credit.
He's earned his money. If he paid off world debt none of the public would chip in and depend on celebrities to be charitable in their place! (Actually there's a good idea!)

Yay!! I did something good
I had never noticed that van before in my life, but the other day it was parked on the pavement and I was so busy playing around on my phone that I didn't see it and walked right into it. I was just about to start swearing when I noticed that it was covered in flyers and remebered you asking about it.

Hmmm I just realised I didn't write a summary of what I got up to on my travels. As well as the trials and tribulations of travelling
Well here goes... (You might want to visit the bathroom or pakc a thermos before you read this)
WEDNESDAY 22nd Nov
Woke up late so couldn't get to the bank before getting on the megabus. But the bus arrives about 15.30 to London so would have time before going to Newbury.
THE BREAKDOWN (Which should've been the title of the entire post!)
Before going past Birmingham the bus broke down as I was drifting in and out of sleepy consciousness. So I ended up waking up/falling asleep on/off to the same sight - a torrential monsoon - feeling like I was there for years. The bus driver wouldn't even let me off to go for a p*ss even though the toilet was broke! To make things worse I found the screen on my MP3 player had stopped working. SO I couldn't watch any videos or choose any music wouldn't using the 'Random Play' button. I didn't even have a book or magazine to read! After a while, the driver related and let smokers off the bus for a fag (he would've had a bloodbath WITHOUT a road accident if he didn't)
1hr 45 mins later a replacement bus came to pick us up. It turns out they could've been here 30mins earlier but the bus drove past us thinking we were further up (is a Megabus breakdown very common that they have to say 'Nope, that's not the one I'M replacing!'.
TRAINS
So instead of arriving at 1530, I arrived at 17.30 with no time to get to the bank. I checked my account with read £31.50. Available for Withdrawl - £20. Okaaaaaay. I withdrew the £20 thinking it would be more than enough to get to Newbury. I checked my Oyster Card to see how much I had left on it. It wouldn't read. I tried again and again. Nae joy! I asked the guard why wasn't it reading, he said I had to fill in a form to get a replacement. A form? With my address details? I didn't need my address when i bought it so why would I need it now? I thought 'Sod that, I'm just buying a single ticket'.
At which point a police officer came up to me and ask me about my firestaffs. They then took me aside and asked to search my bags which I willingly complied with as I had nothing to hide (except for that tiny tin of 'sage') they took my name and address (???????) then bid me on my merry way. Hmmmm Bloody Police People....
Got on the tube, got on the WRONG tube. So change and wait for 8mins! Got to Paddington. Checked the ticket machine for Newbury £15.50 had enough but the note I had was crumpled so wouldn't take it. Was gonna ring Jo to tell her when I was a arriving. Only to realise I had lost my phone! I last used it at Victoria so I asked a niiiiiiiice Police People if I could use their phone to ring mine. No answer! So I asked where the nearest net cafe was and it was around the corner from the station. £1 for 30mins. I used it for 10mins to get Jo Rhyme's number. When back to the station. Queued up for a ticket for which they wanted to charge me £18.50 (?!??!?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!) despite it saying £15.50 on the ticket machine - apparently the cheap rate only applies on non-Virgin Trains and all trains after 19:30 (It was 18:20 at this time). After the tube fare and the £1 for net cafe I couldn't pay it so I had to wait. Which left the dilema of not even having enough money to call Jo & Sym to tell them that I was gonna be an hour later than I had specified in my post to them 10mins earlier. So I trundled back to the net cafe and asked the kind man if I could use the remain 20mins of the 30mins I had paid for. To which he replied 'No! One time only!' Hmmmm. At this point I was seriously contemplating getting a refund on my ticket - i.e. NOT see Jo & Sym and spend the night in the station as I didn't have the numbers of my friends in London and didn't want to just turn up on their doorstep...!
Then I had an idea. my bank balance said I had £31.50 but I could only draw out £20 which I did. Could I get £5 cashback? Went to Sainburys, bought some filters and tried for £2 back back. Minimum was £5 so ok. It Worked YAY! went to a payphone, called Jo and said I'd be in at 2029. Yay! Got on the train and off I went! Until I got to Reading...
The train was about to leave when over the tannoy *Ladies and Gentleman, if anyone is a doctor or a nurse could they make their way to the train manager in Coach F please*... Ended up being delayed by 30mins as the train waited for an ambulance. All I knew was that it was some little boy who needed it...
Got to Newbury about 2045. Couldn't find Sym so rung Jo on th payphone again but she said he was just on his way Finally saw him and he looked like Jesus - my saviour after the day I had! Oh yeah we rung my phone and some nice lady had it and I told her to give it in to Victoria Police station which she agreed to before she was cut off. So began a nice evening in with Jesus and rainbow girl with soup, green, 'The Mighty Boosh' and 'Pleasantville'. And a nice nap after a long day....
THURSDAY 23rd Nov
Woke and it was nice and sunny after the dreary dull textbook S.A.D. picture weather of the previous day. Went into Newbury town centre - LOVELY old fashioned place (but not safe from the Starbucks infection) went to the bank to transfer money from my savings account to my current account. Had a lovely picnic in the park had a spin lovely and fed about 3 loaves of bread to a HORDE of ducks and swans. Went to a little cafe for tea and went home to make scones They were lovely. I only wish I stayed longer but I had to be off to Guildford so I bid my goodbyes and went to the train station!
Naturally the train was 20mins late at Reading because they were waiting for a train guard!
Got to Guildford, rung GHC and met up with him at a pub and chatted for about an hour before making my way to the carpark for Burnt Toast. Usual suspects - Strugz, Duballstar, Durbs, Toz, Parafinfairy but also non-Guildford natives - Mynci and CK
a friend from Preston! Who insisted that his prescence be a surprise! It certainly was! I owed him a £10 anyway!
Mynci told me he'd been trying to ring me but got an Asian man (yes I know I'm chinese!) on the other end. So I rung it and the reception was bad but when it came thought it was some guy who was in Tottenham and was demanding £3000 for the phone! The woman must've been mugged! But there was nothing I could do except bar the phone. Hmmmmm. After that it was a good spin in the carpark then afterwards went to a a few pubs then some of us were taken the long, wet muddy route back to Keith's place by a guy who fancied a a country walk(???!!?!)
FRIDAY 24th
Went to London (no problems with the train except that I got on the slow one instead of the express) went to Vodaphone, splashed out on a new phone, went to meet up with Tommy & Nat. Had a bit of a problem with the guard at the end as I had no cash and couldn't pay the CASH-ONLY overspill (I didn't know if I wanted a return or a single!) but serendipitiously Nat turned up and said I didn't need a return as we were heading to Synergy in the car so I asked the guard for a single but he sneakily let me through! YAY! Got to Tommy and Nats, had a spin, caught up, waited for Nat to get ready (with the speed of a woman - meanign we couldn't meet up with the other guys beforehand)
Got to Synergy, queued up with the knowledge that i was on the guestlist, got it, didn't have my number so had to go back outside to get it, only to find I wasn't. GRRRR, I was more than willing to pay full price when I first got in but hey! Had a nice spin in the neon psytrance room before it got busy. It was nice spinning all night with a variety of toys and people. Left about 6:30am. Had a brilliant time...
SAT 25th
Slept till 4pm and just slobbed around until about 9 when we went to a pub for a few hours then came back and stayed up watching Torchwood, Robin Hood and others whilst Nat was straightening Tommy's hair 
SUN 26th
Went to Camden and had a nice spin with Sambo-Flux, Monserat, JAC and Lilith in London for a few hours until the Park Wardens kicked us out an Hour earlier than I thought. Went to Camden Market to Oddballs (naturally) and for food then hopped on the Tube back to Victoria to get some sushii and head to the megabus which was naturally 30mins later getting there and leaving. Got stuck in traffic and ended up getting home about 1hr30mins late at 1am. Didn't expect anything less really....
Well that was an adventure!
