hey, im Lianne hows everyone doing?
im away up living near the capital of the highlands in scotland, i got my staff for christmas after pleading with my folks for ages to get one. my portugese friend introduced me to it while he practised it (unlit..) in college, and a couple of friends took their staffs down to the beach, we had a big fire, watched the sun set, watched it rise and played with fire..
i loved it so much and found out a couple other people i knew had poi as well, i just had to get a staff..im slowly learning contact stuff after a short session up in lewis after speaking to a couple of guys who were spinning and had put on a great show, it was a load of info at once, but i think i remembered quite a bit! if youre reading this guys thanks again, i couldnt remember your username so make yourself known like!
also into music, heavily. i like a wide range, mostly alternative i guess, everything from punk to funk to stoner rock to psy-trance to dark metal, theres a band for every occasion and more! i sing and write songs as well, my aim is to find a band into as wide a range as i am and take different styles and mesh them altogether, take everything i like about it and put it in with something totally different and find a way to join the two. also play guitar and bass, and i love messing about with percussion, my little brother has a djembe

heh. we were debating for aaages whether to go and ask them for a shot,...go outside shoot a few tin cans..
frankfurt is really nice but really business orientated. I can now say I've been there done that and next time in germany will check out another city. good beer, crazy food and tasty tasty pastry! banging techno clubs too but of course dread heads aren't allowed in all of them, there is a certain dress code. we got sent away from 2 clubs cos we looked too scruffy for their posh clientele. met some lovely people too, and everyone can speak english! makes me feel bad for not knowing more languages but i did well with the german!

Frankfurt is the banking capital of Germany...
Dreaddies ? You should go to Berlin... that's the only city in Germany (to me) that hosts Dreadheads (and that is the only city REALLY worthwhile staying)... But you come join us in Karlsruhe, no? the best smiles are the ones you lead to

Ooh, and my friends have just opened a tea/art house in Berlin...they'd give you free food for doing a couple of shifts, and Sam could teach you how to make proper Indian Yogi Chai.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

now would one please explain to me what "Yogi chai" is? ("Chai" simply means "tea (with milk)", "Masala Chai" is then the one with Cardamom and Ginger (Masala = spices)... now what is "Yogi chai"... Hot water with milk?

no...what???? *scared*i thought yogi chai was the brand that came from the indian yogi who made special teas for his students after meditation, maybe he puts a secret ingredient that i dont know about, but i just use cloves ginger cardamon cinnamon and an assam teabag to give the tea flavour.. and milk of course and honey to taste.... but wait..am i giving my recipe away here??
