'allo 'allo,
Roving Circus Scots/Japanese woman pleased to find you!
Getting back into spinning after 3 years of letting life & a broken collar bone, tendons, shoulder and hand get in the way of the important things in life.(oh that? Truck + 1 ton lighting rack versus 4'10 lass, truck won. But lass saved lights and small child and a fire escape.) Currently in Japan till near Christmas.
will be heading to UK (home for the first time in 10years ,huzzah!), then Italy, Nederlands, Spain,Brussels,France and Switzerland, so am so happy to find International community.
So Hello, Bonjour, Ohayo, tapadh leadh, Priviet, etc to you!

I measure bootys and wash underwear. I'm assistant wardrobe Mistress. Hey, the job isn't glamourous, but I have to love having "Mistress" in my job title. Every try to stitch a hole ina contortionists, ahem, very upper thigh whilst she's warming up? I've done lights/hang, stage crew and now as the broken bone accumulate with the years, I am in costumes. Which is still dangerous. I ended up with a torn ACL/MCL hamstring ligament whilst doing a clowns hair. Can't sleep, clowns will get me...
And you...?

oooh, an emergency kit, I even managed not to give myselfy a papercut opening it! But my Brownie, she swiped and hid it. She's in a snit that I got a gift from one of those high flautin'fae court. You have to excuse her, she's been insecure since she gave up house and hearth to follow me on the road. Sigh, I'll be having to leave out some turkish delight and Scotch else she hides my keys!
a mini-pogo? aah that explains those mysterious divots by that waterfall in that place over there.

So heres and uber newbie question, being relatively new to BBS' in general. If I reply in quick reply does that let the individual know that I responded to their question? 'cause I wrote back in quick to Mags the Jedi 'bout my questionable job activities ;>

Hello Elanna, nice to meet 'cha.
So how long were you here? drat i should have gotten over timid factor sooner and post before. You could have come seen my show frown
Yep, the tele here is bizarre. My favourite is the National Karaoke competitions, they had one where it was transvestites who if they did well got to meet their idols, and sing a duet with them. Much gasping, sobbing, fan waving and runney make-up involved. Culture here is so polite, you can leave your shopping and coat outside a teeny store to browse and it will still be there upon return. But Ikeep getting kicked out of public pools & baths for my tatoos. I guess i look like Yakuza's squeeze. redface

Unfortunately I was only in Japan for about three days. I stopped there on my way back home from China. I do plan on studying abroad there at some point, though. ^_^

Out of all the TV shows I got to see, the kid's shows were among the best with the game shows a close second. My absolute favorite, however, was the one game show type thing where girls got to dress guys as girls. It was hilarious. biggrin Some of them looked very pretty, too. devil

Hallo Mischeif, ( i before e except after...damnit)
I am in Osaka, in the middle of an amusement arcade in Namba.
Trying to find practice space, maybe ending up at beach, but the nearest is positively Draconian about security and safety. last time we went, the police checked everybody's residence cards and kicked tourist visa folks off beach!!!
So how far away is Saitama from Osaka?

Hmmm, so is ex this Adam guy I treid contacting from list?
Like your Dragon tag! Gave me picture of dragon sitting by waterfall happily singing;" Oooh I love them little humans, humans what I love to eat, loves to bites they heads off and nibble on they tiny feet!" biggrin
Spinning here not so much of problem, though live fire is. Our knife dancers were trying to warm up today, outside, in rain from Typhoon, heh, well at least they were wet enough for saftey onstage, but Silulu complained about the wet leather hot pants he has to wear chafeing a bit ubbrollsmile
