has anyone had any experiences with one of these?

any help would be greatly appreciated smile

i prefer weight - added weight disciplines your plane control.
these eletroglows are much much cheaper than much of what is available (aerotechs, feraltechs, NASA) but if you like light staff, yeah go for them.

i used to load the light elements with two thin 3V CR2016 batteries for each light element (they're supposed to take only 1 of the thicker 3V CR2032 batteries) this makes em last not as long but you do get a brighter glow.

it's midwinter here, so right now only fire for me!! smile

i love lamp.

i dont own one but i have used one fairly briefly, i personaly found it to be to light, it is much beter than the old one but still it felt like quite a strain to keep it spinning as it didnt have the weight to gather inertia. just my personal opinion i know others that realy liked it, it just felt wrong to me, so im still looking for a decent glow staff.

thanks people biggrin

i decided against getting one, mainly because i like to play around with contact-y stuff and that one of my mum's best mates knows about LED circuitry and is willing to teach me smile
