OH GOD NOT ANOTHER MUSIC THREAD!?!
No wait, here me out.
I love psytrance and often play it in my classroom BUT every album I have has some section where I need to run over and skip over an 'inappropriate for a teacher to be playing' sample. Either they're drugs or sex.
Anybody know where I can download some psytrance that doesn't have a 2 second break where the chorus is "EVERYBODY HAVE SEX AND DO DRUGS NOW!"?

Talamasca.. Psydrop.. Most of Sphongle.. Most russian production like Transdriver and stuff.. Maybe Lucy in Space with Diamonds..: ) Most producers don't have passages like that in tracks.. You have to have some really weird albums there..: )

It's kinda funny. There are a sizable portion of my kids that don't like techno or hip hop. They're all about the Grateful Dead and Phish and all that stoner rock that I can't stand. It's a pretty funny role reversal.

lots of their music free to d/l at www.ukbassline.co.uk
and while i'm plugging they also run a night called 'informal' at bar el paso in old street, london on the first thursday of every month.
somehow, they have created a night that is actually a viable alternative to the dub-plate-laden beast that is 'movement' - mampi swift is playing informal tomorrow night
