Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

I'm at the poole park fest on monday running a workshop area and circus toys stall for simon

I just can't wait to play, I hardly get any time to practice and now I have to do the props in the shop so my devil stick, diablo and poi should get some work

I only get paid on tuesday...cursed bank holiday being just one day too early!!
Suppose it's a good thing really as I'll probably save a fortune over this weekend, which means more moolah for Bestival in a couple of weeks!! We were all going to do the battle royale thing, but at a risk of looking like we were on our way to the school disco the idea has basically been tossed. WE are now dressing up as animals!!! I'm going as a panda!! Have to make my costume soon though, bought loads of black and white fluff fabric....I'm going to look so cuddly cute! Spose thats a good thing as I'll just be wanting to hug people most weekend! this weeks been so stressful cos of the school play, which im doing the techy stuff for.. its all quite amazingly under organised, and ive been putting in up to 14 hour school days because of it.. on top of that, little things keep popping up, that keep making me have to put in an extra half hours work here or there, practically removing my lunch break.
on the other hand, we had a show last night, and it appears that everything is sorted out

Evrything always works out in the end What play was it?I wont be boiling in my panda costume if it's hot...not the way I've designed my costume
It involves a short skirt. I've got pieces I can take off if it's too hot and pieces I can add if it's cold. I want to walk round town in a full giant fluffy lion suit.... and have someone film it
just for a giggle I thought about going to chessington world of adventures and seeing if they would let me in free as a juggling lion I want to do something nuts dressed as an animal... a monkey would do lol

Oh dear...once again the 'quiet weekend' idae didn't work...infact Lee and I didn't do to sleep at all on Saturday night and even went out on Sunday night and had a bit of a party around our house.So feeling very rough today...but once again, quite happy about it
So it's not all doom and gloom. I make my panda costume this week

ooo, i know that feeling.. i was getting it at the start of the week.. so i made a mix of lemsip (im not sure if you have that.. its this lemony powder thats meant to help with colds) as well as honey and chai.. i thought itd taste ugly.. but it was surprisingly nice
