Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

Lois - Yes we plan to crack out the suits in force at southern Lights so people know where they saw them
hopefully there will be me, matt, simon, reza, marie and carol all wearing glowyness and if you can bring fairy wings 
we have a small area of woodland to decorate too so ideas are good we may play weird noises or jungle sounds through them we have to decide later what resources we have available and how best to put them to use.
A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

Yep, you have to pay for stuff £10 to get into Canal Street and wait probably an hour to get served! The advantage it has is that it carries on throughout the night!
The Poptastic night pretty decent though. Nice mix of music, one room pop crap (which I don't mind) and the other more alternative room. I think that's a about £15.

Really, must remember to actually plan to go out somewhere instead of faffing about for several hours afterwards and trying hard not to kill that loony massuse/hairdresser woman...
SO it's definitely fine for me to crash in your tent at Southern Lights? In which case I'll save my shoulders the burden of carrying the tent! Plus you need at least one gay in your tent!

Well...there is still a chance that baby Lee may come. Due to recent events he may not be going to the O2 festival, if he's not going to the O2 festival he will come to Southern Lights...this is what he told me last night. He is however as unpredictable as weather so it's still up in the air. If he doesn't come the spot is yours for sure, but I thought I best just let you know that there is a possibility that Lee may snatch it out from under you at the last minute...I cant argue with him either...it's half his tent and mattress

Don't worry I think I can cope with the tent, I just preferred not to! (Friends tell me I've shrunk, due no doubt to the almost constant backpacking I've done these past two years!) I'll need it for Glastonbury if I go as well!

I have taken pride in giving a gay stress though *waits for rudeness from Dave because that's what he's SOOO good at
