Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

2 new sticks i have 2 new staffs I have to pick up from Simons 
I can't wait and a few new magic tricks to learn when they arrive I shall put pete and Lois under my spell and they shall be awed by my magnif.. magnifi... greatness

had a beautifully quiet weekend, rounded off with some munchies and the company of some good good friends while watching the lord of the rings last night. I'm so happy all my friends live in easy walking distance
. Slept loads and read loads...but still a bit tired today.Getting very very excited about bestival this coming weekend though
I made my furry boots this weekend too...they are BIG You know I'm amazed every time I see you Mynci...scoz your so clever with stuff

Monday I have to try and get home from the isle of wight! I learnt my lesson from Play though, I'm taking minimal stuff this time, just a change of clothes and warm stuff My panda mask came in the post today and its too big for my face...too late to make alternative plans...I'm going to have to cut it up...oh well
I'm getting really excited. Had a look at the program and Joe Driscoll is at Bestival...he was the amazing guy from Play festival who made the music with his mouth...sortof...thing...anyway.. YAY! He was awesome!

I have flu... and I've come into work.. not that poxy cold malarky but apparently proper flu the walk in centre said, but I'm fishing for brownie points so made the effort. A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

I had that last week...I had the most pathetic little head cold that you don't even bat an eyelid at, but my entire body ached and I just slept and slept and slept. Not pleasant.

WOW.
Bestival was THE BEST festival I have ever been to, barr none! What an amazing site, what amazing people, what amazing things to see and do. 50 000 people in fancy dressin a field on a sunny day...absolutely brilliant. So much silliness! It was fantastic, I'm defenitly going next year!
On top of everything...I'm inlove
really really...well I think so anyway. Missing you too lady Bubbles (move to Brighton). If you like to have fun, I recommend Bestival next year-it's filled with more people like me and Lee and other such beautiful people Still cant stop thinking about said boy, it's making me feel a bit nauseous...

I should be thinking about work though. I had an interview for a managers job yesterday and still couldn't stop thinking about him. On the plus side I was relaxed..on the other side I was talking complete nonsense mostly.

I'm sure he got it. I know I never reply to happy birthday messages, doesn't mean they are not appreciated. he's basically been slepping and eating since we got back from Bestival. Silly boy didn't sleep one wink at the festy. Thats 4 days with no sleep and bouncing around like a loon

I know, I keep getting added by people on facebook who blatantly went to the same school as me but who I have no recollection of whatsoever...like I care what theyre doing with their lives now??? I do care if I remember them, but otherwise it's like a stranger telling you stuff-it means nothing. Although I will admit sometimes after a gentle push in teh right direction I remember some people that I had forgotten
