What is it that brings a smile to your face? I personally just found a $100 check (to me of course) from Christmas that I thought I had cashed a while ago, this means I can cash this cheque and my pay cheque from work tomorrow, which means I can buy my digital camcorder this week rather than next
This made me smile and wish I cleaned up my desk more often ^.^'Another one I had earlier today was walking in a crisp winter air, not to cold, and not windy, and rounding the corner of my street and smelling an incredible wood fire awaiting me at home (I'm the only one in my area with a real wood fire place :O).
Anyways, what makes you smile or brightens your day?

Incase anyone does bring up the other thread about the small things that make us happy, I know it's there, but I figured this one was more about proper situations than little things ^.^'
And right now after trying real hard, nailing an air wrap makes me happy

Right now I'm happy that I appear to have fixed my washing machine and got it back inside its cabinet without electrocuting myself or breaking the kitchen cabinet. Wooooo Hooooo!

Nice one Skully! I'm most impressed. Washing machines are evil, my parents old one used to chase people across the room.
Something which made me smile yesterday was when one of my second year pupil (one of the nicer individuals in a hellish class) asked if he would get me next year and went 'oh cool' when I said he might. That was nice.
Hugs always make me smile.
Seeing a REALLY cute Alsatian puppy in the meadows last Friday gave me a huge grin too.
Sunshine always makes me feel heaps better.

What makes me happy. Hmmmmmm, what makes anyone happy, sunshine, fresh air *coughing* oh sorry, man, i got really philosophical and wacky for a sec, now im back. Happiness for me i think goes like this
-a new scar
-a good book (no bubble bath needed)
-talking with friends
-yelling at people
realizing ive been practicing so hard that the skin on my fingers is gone
-beating a game
-watching anime
-candy of any kind (except black rope licorice)
-and having money (by payday or guilt of others)
I feel all warm and giddy inside now. maybe cause its payday today!

knowing that you don't /have/ to do anything. when you can have a holiday and know that you don't have any projects to work on - your time is entirely yours + you can do whatever you want with it.
that and thoughts of glastonbury - i've been looking forward to it since it ended last year + everytime i think of all the ppl and the music + the mud and the sun i smile and think of spinning in the stone circle looking over the festival grounds - bliss.

Looking in the mirror and seeing the little lines appear around my eyes or cheeks and know that they are a sign of a life well lived and full of laughter.
I could go on and on but in the end, life makes me happy, because even at the end of the worst day, if I look hard enough, there will always be something to smile and be happy about.

oh god I totally agree with you lightning and Pele! I have been coughing blood the past few days..(not huge amounts just lil bits) I have been so sick and a breath with no pain would make me soooo happy right now.
