Because of the time difference between Australia and England, i dont get to talk to many of you. So i got to bed at night wondering what you're doing and generally missing all the happy HoPpers.
I NEED A TUCK IN! When i come online tomorrow it would be really cool to find out how mnay HoPpers tucked me into bed tonight.
So, please do tuck away and i will return the favour somehow sometime.

I was actually wondering if I should get up at Australian times to watch the GrandPrix tomorrow (yes I know that's sad
). Why are there time shifts? Why can't we just have 2 suns around the earth and 2 moons to give eclipses all the time? "vices are like genitals - most are ugly to behold, and yet we find that our own are dear to us."

well, I thought if I could change the number of suns I could also change the principles of astronomy. Such are my powers (of imagination, fortunately...)
We might have to re-name Sakura_moon into Sakura_moon*s* of course. She may be surprised when she wakes up and reads this.

if there were two suns, would the earth go round them in an '8' like pattern???? that would be cool but then wouldnt there be a shorter night time??? and also a point where the whole world is 'in light', would be confusing when going to bed

*makes sure that pillow can be used for both head support and cudly toy,
*checks if feet are completely covered as well (it's cold here at night nowadays),
*grabs a chair, sets it next to the bed, opens the book stargirl to page one and starts reading it to sakura, because this book will give you happy thoughts for at least a week
*is doing all the appropreate voices to add to the general niceness of the story,
*after sakura finally falls asleep, stays a bit longer to finish the book for himself

MASSIVE smiles right now. Maybe thats why i slept so well? I usually wake up and wander around in the early hours of the morning..but i kept sleeping. Maybe thats because Fine Rabid Dog made sure i couldnt get up?!Thankyou for reading me stories and making sure my feet are tucked in, if my extremeties arent covered i get nightmares. *Blush*
Cant wait for tonight to come now...
Two suns??? I reckon two or three moons would look pretty cool in the sky...maybe i'm biased cos of my name though.

No no no, in my made-up world the suns would be going round the earth :-)
On the subject of the world in light though, I suspect we might all get used to it pretty quickly. I've read a very interesting short story (I think it might've been Asimov) about a world with 3 suns that only had actual darkness every few hundred years or so, and the people went absolutely mad and set stuff on fire! Very cool.
