Pretty self-explanitory, really. Just any 5 things you loved when you were 5 (or little in general, if you can't remember that far back wink ).

1 - Dogger. My favourite book about a boy who loses his toy dog.

2 - Red. Great colour, red.

3 - Glasses. I used to sit in front of the telly with glasses-frames on, pretending I needed them. Now I do. ubblol

4 - Ham sandwiches/Jam sandwiches. Not at the same time, I hasten to add.

5 - Homework. I used to get my mum and dad to set me homework. I was a very peculiar child biggrin

Your go!

Me too, actually. I once nicked loads of candarel tablets from a cafe at a garden centre and I got in loads of trouble from my mum. I thought she was going to tell the police ubblol

biggrin wow! So far I thought I was the only one... I talked my cousin into eating them, too, but I think she only did it to make me happy rolleyes I think my mother's expression was one of the main reasons I liked eating them in the first place...

Hope you know that all the other things that you loved when you were five will feel excluded from your list. Possibly they will be offended, too! wink

WHAT? when you were FIVE? I was digging that album when it came out... I was like 16... *feels old*

1/ My little brother.. I thought he was MY baby.

2/ the slippery slide that Dad used to put soapy water on in the garden so we could run down it and slide on our bums/heads/faces and get randomly injured.

3/ having 50 cents and being able to buy the biggest bag of lollies in the WORLD

4/ my cuddley blanket

5/ the last unicorn video, which I was given on DVD by my best friend for christmas last year, I used to watch it every day...

i like this thread

TAJ "boat mummy." VALURA "yes sweetie you went on a boat, was daddy there with you?" TAJ "no, but monkey on boat" VALURA "well then sweetie, Daddy WAS there with you"

Did you? I had my own country between the ages of 2 (when I was seriously ill and probably invented it though I'd love to believe it really exists somewhere!!!) and about 6, though I didn't "go" there much anymore after 4 or 5... the memory, except for the name and how to get there, is all gone now! Did your elven people disappear, too? (no matter how messed up this may sound, it's meant as a serious question!!)

2. Digging snow tunnels with my friends in the drifted snow around our swimming pool.

3. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in our fire place after riding on the snowmobile with my dad.

4. Walking my dog with my Grandpa, especially when he wore his bright blue socks that made me giggle when they poked out from under his dark trousers when he took a step.

5. My sisters. They were 15 and 17 at the time and I thought they were the coolest people ever.

One thing I didn't like but is funny in retrospect, sliding down those metal slides in shorts or a bathing suit after they sat all day in the sun! Talk about toasty buns! lol Never stopped me from doing it though! lol

Can we do age 8 next? I have great memories from that too! biggrin

It was 20 years ago and my memory's not that good.

I reckon I probably liked lego though, I've had some for as long as I can remember smile

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
