I have moved on from Devil Sticks to Fire Sticks and now figure i may as well give the Fire Poi a go as well. Spend too many hours a day working and too many days a year thinking about work...there is just something about that moment when it is just you and fire. Nothing else matters...for that short time...the soul is free.
If there is anyone down around the South of France who can point me in the right direction to improve (and prevent the ever painful crack in the back of the head) give me a shout.

to HoPAlso can't help you with France but you'll find lots of help here even if it's from the vids and you could always come over to England - we're not too far away
Identify muchly with you on the work and fire thing - just wish I was any good at poi
But hey, it's so much fun learning from all these lovely HoPpers - hope you find some ppl nearby real soon

Thanks for the welcome, am sure I'll have some questions over time.
have learnt a lot from here already, is a good idea, just wish had found in years ago instead of blundering along by myself for so long

As for South France...where abouts? I know there is a big juggling community around Toulouse, there is a shop there that will be able to point you to more people, and i know of a shop in Rodez, called "Rock and Roll".
There seems to be quite a large fire scene in that region (Tarn, Aveyron regions).
Never pick up a duck in a dungeon...

Hmm can't say pink is one of my favourite colours, but it certainly has its place.
As for where in South of France, Monaco really (I know its not France but...) also spend a lot of time in Menton, right on the Italian Border. Friend has a place there right over the beach in the old town. As soon as we get back will get some photos.
There is an old church on the hill, and all going to plan should be able to get that as the back drop. Here's hoping. All depends if the Gendarmes grab me, already been asked not to play in Monaco too much. Fire and all those expensive cars makes them nervous
