This event will commence with people arriving on the Thursday evening (hopefully) and go until either the sunday or the monday depending how people feel. The 27th is the Sunday, so I guess the dates for the whole thing are 24th - 28th March

Prices are:

Tents:

£4.50 per adult per night

£1.50 per kid per night (4-14)

There are dorm rooms in a barn for £15 per adult per night and family rooms for £40 for the whole room. The barn requires deposits of £20 pp. No deposit is required for campers.

Btw, what are we all going to do about fuel? I take it the local Falmouth hardware store won't have enough in stock for 100-odd fire spinners to spin all weekend?

Should we bring some from Bristol? Or are we all bringing our own?

hmmmmmmm good point, i was wandering about htis too, i don't like the idea of driving in a car loaded with another fuel other than to make it go, not for over 6 hours of driving anyway

Hmm im not too concerned about having paraffin in my car so ill bring as much as i can afford. Im guessing some peeps will bring paraffin, otherwise it might be a bit pointless having a fire meet.

Also, thanks for the website, ive been looking for it but couldn't find it frown

If we say everyone has to bring at least 4 litres we should be ok for a start.

You should be able to pick it up on the way from garages even Tesco Garages do it

4 litres per person? For four nights? I'm thinking 12 per night myself, but it's personal preference, obviously.

You guys getting excited yet? We went and checked out the beach the other day. Looks kickass. biggrin

Hey Mags... what do you suggest about the fuel? Have you ordered a big supply from the hardware store that we can go buy?

Not really, although trago's will probably have a fair bit. I would recommend that you all bring as much as you can.

Hmmm, after far too long without HoP (new job now etc), I'm starting to wonder whether I should come to this. I guess I'd sort of like to, but does anyone know what the long-term weather forecast is? As in, if it's as cold as it is at the moment, then stuff is going to be unpleasant. otoh, if I don't come, I have a 20l jerrycan that I could lend to Robyn or anyone else who would like to borrow it.

hmmm theres bound to be places near buy that sell fire wood (or is that too much to ask of this crappy country. hehe.)
I would say wonder round and see what we pick up but i think by the second or third night all the fire wood in the area might be in ashes on the beach hehe.
