So 'Lanna says I can post whatever I want, although I don't know what I want to post. So, um,
Hi!
I am called Fyrna. I play the Bells wearing orange 'n black plaid in the PUB. You can see me in the Halloween Parade in Greenich Village next year! I was in marching band in high school, I can skate, I'm learning to play ice hockey, I went to France last spring for the W3C tech plenary, I work on Mozilla (for fun), I know CSS probably better than any of you folks, but I can't do design too well, I like IRC, I just switched to Gentoo Linux (from Win2k, 'coz it kept crashing), I like reading fantasy (or did when I had time), and I'm (very) slowly working through Michelle West's Sun Sword series (awesome books, but not for everyone). I live pretty close to NYC, I worked in Norway over the summer, I like to cook but rarely get a chance, my favorite color is violet, I really really liked the Rurouni Kenshin first OVA, and I've gone with Elanna to several anime cons. I'm pretty decent with freehand glowsticks (I usually pick violet ones), my personality resembles Hikaru's from MKR (I'm also quite short), and most-most importantly
I am Elanna's sister!
and that is why I'm here.
(Elanna says to say "also because I like poi", which is true, but I'm mainly here because she keeps insisting on me registering and saying hi. ^^;;)

I left my groceries outside the main door while I finish up work... cold enough to be a freezer out there anyway, don't have to worry 'bout the milk going bad. ^^

Gidg, of course I know being a geek around here is cool! It's just that being a geek in the "real world" isn't cool at all. Not that I ever pay attention to "reality"...
