Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.
The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.
Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!
So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens
St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)
The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)
With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Helloo Sunday Twirlers,
Thanks for welcoming a newbie to the fold, had a great time on Sunday evening. I was a bit shy & reserved initially, but thats just me. You seem like a cool bunch of people and I look forward to getting to know you all better. Special thanks to Flynt for teaching me a new move :-)

Hey, I went to the place with the 3 palm trees, and no one was there. Did the location change somewhere during all the 60 odd pages of posting that I didn't read all of? I'd like to go again next week if anyone can give me better directions...

yeah mel, the place has changed for winter.. we're now under the swanston st / st kilda rd bridge, on southbank.. starting around 6:30 - 7pm
though.. you didnt miss much, i think only bunny and myself rocked up

i was there for about 30 - 45mins.. then when bunny arrived we sat around for a while.. then after noone had showed up, we got a beer

I'm hoping to turn up this sunday aswell as long as fathersday doesn't get in the way, it'll only be my second time so hopefully its all good and there is a decent number of people turning up.
The last time i went someone taught me the 3b ttn i've mastered that and now i'm doing 5b ttn's, now i need a new move to learn lol

The show went really well (apart from my other set of poi breaking mid-act :/) but yes, i will hopefully come find you this sunday and give them back!

Will this be happening this Sunday? Also, how late does it go till because I work on Sunday nights and don't usually finish until 10-11, so I wouldn't be able to show until about 12-1. Would anybody still be there?

Highly unlikely Linja. Most people will have work/uni the following morning. Some might stay till or past 11pm but the bulk of people start heading off at around 9:30-10:30
