Hello wave

Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)

Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon smile

Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.

Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.

Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech ubblove Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.

Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE ubblove

Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):

blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born smile

um, that'll do I think...

oh one more thing,

I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people hug

what a fabby place ubblove

now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

Teehee, for today's educational excursion we have Saint Valentine:

St. Valentine was a Priest, martyred in 269 at Rome and was buried on the Flaminian Way. He is the Patron Saint of affianced couples, bee keepers, engaged couples, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travellers, young people.

I'm not sure how the bees come into it eek

Bees are good. They make a nice noise and are creators of honey! ubblove

Shall see you tonight indeed. Are you going to juggling thing at Tollcross, or do I need to brave the nasty cold? ubblol

Curious: what's the difference between being affianced and engaged? confused

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

KITTENS!!!!

I have no idea what the difference is... hang on I'll go look... it's the same thing. Silly patron saints rolleyes

should be at Tolcross tonight, I'll have a very large hoop and a lovely long stick with me. I could bring the mole if it would help you identify me smile

oh, you should come to the Meadows Kat, cause I can't make Tollcross. I wasn't going to go at all until Molly reminded me you'd bring cake!

And Molly, yep, going to be at juggling next Wednesday (thought I'd put this here instead of poor Possum's thread!), and the ball I guess, though I can't dance, have no partner and no dress. Hm. I can do something about the third one I suppose! Is everybody going to go really dressed up, or is a "normal" dress good enough?

and if you don't want to dance - bring toys!

Cake and its friend are in oven. Smells very good.

Hopefully can manage to identify you Molly, but moles are always good - they created a fountain in my parents lawn once.

Meadows is on way home from Tollcross anyway, so I shall stop by with cake just for you Birgit, even if it's too cold to lurk.

hmmm... just thinking about actually going to Tollcross instead of the Meadows cause I feel a cold coming and DO need a break from typing in data, even if I have to be finished tomorrow. Have never been to the Tollcross meeting though, so am not sure where to go confused

Can I part time stalk NYC...... you know.... maybe once every other Thursday.... as long as its not raining...... what do you think? I promise not to do any of the really weird stuff, like keeping toenail clippings or stealing un-washed socks.

um, if you could take care of teh dishes that would be handy...
and I suppose you could sit and watch the trains go round the cows with a nice cup of tea, if you didn't get in the way too much

but it might get tricky if he insists on hiding behind me ALL the time umm

If you could work out some deal with the pigeons, then you'd be set. They're stalking him anyway.

Or are you only up for UK-based stalking, cos then your windows of opportunity are sorely limited.

I sympathise about the pigeons. I was much happier with them once I started punting them off my windowsill when their carnal cooing finally got too much to bear first thing of a morning. And I got my pigeon startling kit which really helped a lot. And umbreallas, they came in handy too smile

have some chocolate
it'll make you feel better hug
