This is a poll to see whether us westcountry poiples have our own meet for the sphercularHOP Day 2004 or go to a different one.

however if i hear the west country folk are having a meetup, id certanly drive down and join you

Mags, i think peeps have decided it's gonna be easier to make it knida regional but if you guys don't get it together i hear there's rumours of a HUGE North/Midlands meet being planned...

Strugz: I think the nearest meet to you will be in Brighton, check the spherculism thread, sounds like a goodun too
. That's where I will end up if the westcountry meet doesn't rouse more interest 
Mags: Agreed, a whole UK meet would be incredible, especially as the westcountry one probably wouldn't be one of the larger ones, but I doubt the whole UK would be able to make it. Plus there already seem to be others springing up round the country.
The question is- would westcountry poips like a little one of their own or travel a bit to a different (possibly bigger) one?
I was all up for getting a meet together down here but now I'm thinking maybe poips round here would prefer to travel to something bigger, (maybe I would too

Well, I'm in for a big meet, even though I don't count as a UK spinner. Not sure I'll be making it to any smaller meets if that is the way it goes though - it's halloween damn it, and I've gotta do something good for it even if you european types are only just catching onto it!

depends what else is planned though, if there are only a few of us, itd probably be better to invade somewhere else..

Well I'll give it another week for people to see this thread and if there isn't significantly more positive response by then I'll be making plans to go to Brighton

I'm a westcountry boy meself, but i'll be at the brighton meet.
Big event is scheduled for next summer.
Local meets are more realistic with such a short time to go.
Durbs, come play in brighton, you know it makes sense, any more takers ~ I promise to teach everyone in brighton at least 1 totally new thing.

unless he cunninly escapes that is. i've left him in a minimum security prison near telford with no gaurds and no restraints. wonder what he does...

I think you're mistaken, the minimus security prison IS Telford
OK I'm so torn between meets, sheffeild has the upper hand currently cuz it's way closer than anywhere else AND Mech is giving me a bed for the night, but I won't get to meet Matt (PPP) or learn a new trick he guaranteeing to teach everyone. Damn this is hard to make up my mind!!
At least I have my fancy dress sorted so thats cool
