Hello HoPpers
I had an intro thread here once upon a time but it's disappeared so I thought I'd write a new one.
I live in Coffs Harbour on the east coast of NSW Oz(tralia). I've been spinning poi for just under 2 years. I only started with fire after a lovely HoP friend from Adelaide visited and made me be brave!
I've also been learning to spin staff since the beginning of this year. I'm still not very good but get alot less bruises these days!
I've been a member of HoP for ages but only occaisionally post because I'm really shy in forums.
I'm only slightly braver in real life! LOL My friends and I have a fire group that meets every Saturday night on Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour. If you're ever in Coffs on a Saturday night come down and have a burn with us.

My favourite colour is Blue but I do like Pink
My favourite movies are The Princess Bride, Amelie, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, A Knights Tale, Ever After + lots more. I love movies
I like Nutella and Marmite.. probably like Nutella more though
I like all kinds of music. At the moment I'm listening to Franz Ferdinand (They were AWESOME live at Splendour in the grass this year!!), Electric 6 (also great at Splendour!) , The Freestylers, Scissor sisters, and a Ministry chillout CD.
I LOVE music festivals. Splendour in the grass is my favourite. This years Splendour was the best ever!!
I'm hoping to make it down to Vic or Tassie for the falls festival this new years eve. Is anyone else going? Keep smiling

How about Brisbane to Sydney via Coffs Harbour and then Sydney to Melbourne via Perth? Man this trip really needs to be longer than 4 weeks. I need to go pull out my calendar again.

qt - i'd probly drive my dodgy car - it's kewl i can scratch that one!! though i might have to steal your car (do you have a car?) when i get to your place, cos my car probably wouldn't make it to sydney & perth!! or melbourne for that matter!! hehe!!
yeah gidg i reckon it might take a while...especially with my car!
we better make sure we pack lots and lots of chupa chups!

Maybe we should just go all the way around Oz!
That would make an awesome road trip! I'm going to long way from Coffs Harbour to Melbourne via Brisbane tomorrow. Hehe
Can't wait to go to the Melbourne cup! I've decorated a hat and it looks fabulous (if I do say so myself

Hey honey
I'm doing great.
I'm back from cold rainy Melbourne.
Would you believe I didn't even put a bet on the cup? and watched it on a big screen even though I was there! LOL What a crazy day. The weather turned bad after a beautiful sunny morning and we ended up stuck under an awning for most of the afternoon. It was still fun though because we had many bottles of champagne and some really cool people stuck under there with us!
(Including a spunky young sailor who I ended up kissing 
hehe Naughty me!!) I had an awesome holiday. Fell in love with Melbourne even though it has the crappiest weather!!
Yay!! I'm coming to moonfest!!!!!
I can't wait!! I'm bringing some friends with me too. Can't wait to finally meet you Gita and all the other lovely moonfest/HoP ppl.
mmmm Redskin lollipops! They sound GREAT!!!! I'll have to get some for my next road trip up to Brissy.

I've had to cancel my Moonfest trip
I'm absolutely devastated
I'm just really not well enough and the Dr has put me on new drugs that are messing with me way too much for me to drive by myself for 5 hours.
I'm SO Sorry Gita! I know I promised I'd be there.

Hey Gita
How's Murgon treating you?
I haven't been online alot lately. I haven't been well since November
I'm slightly better now but am tired ALL the time and need to nap alot like an old granny! I've just spent a week in Melbourne catching up with my 'bonus' family (long story.. short version my Mum was adopted and we just found her birth mother & sisters) I also caught up with Trix while I was down there which was great after talking to him online for years!
He's really lovely and quite a hotty too hehe I think I'm going to be recovering from my Melbourne trip for a while. Need lots of sleep. I am not sure if I'll make it up for the next moonfest. I feel so slack because I keep promising 'next time' and then not making it!
I'm meant to be moving to Brissy *looks at watch* about NOW Hehe
...... BUT I have had something/someone complicate all my plans.. I've fallen head over heels!
I've somehow gone from being Ms Single to being in a full on relationship!! My head is spinning and I'm not quite sure how I got here but I'm really happy
My new man is very sweet... and sexy too
He's an old friend who I caught up with on New Years Eve and we've basically been together since then. I'll definitely be up in Brissy some time soon but I'm not sure now if I can move up there permanently... I've got a million and one things going through my head right now!!
I will keep you posted.
