Hello
hmmmmmm what to write about me as an intro.....damn its make or break time. First impressions are so vital. Oooooo the pressure.
I'm living in South Wales but originate from Essex (No I don't own White stillettos and No I'm not an Essex girl!). I don't bite, I do pinch, I love chocolate and I one day plan on learning lots of stuff I can't do yet.
Hobbies:- include juggling, balls
and clubs , Diablo, poi, doodling, music, hating housework (dust is natures way of showing what the burglars have stolen), making things, pulling things to bits (mainly to see how they work) , embarrassing my nieces and nephews (great fun hobbie that all aunties should take up), hugging trees and talking to bees (watch out for the squirrels......they ARE out to get you!)
Ambitions:- Never to grow up. Learn how to burn things safely
To that ends learning how to poi without stunning myself, blacking my eye or turning myself into a human torch. Learn to play more than one tune on the guitar. Rule the World. Learn to Surf. Conquer my fear of heights. Travel the world in a van with a man named Bob ("why Bob?" you ask...well why not Bob? I'm sure there are loads of nice men called Bob out there! Simons and Johns need not apply).
Boring stuff:- work in sales to pay the bills.

Well you were the only person i could think of to ask about this....i am in the process of making a kimono for a gig weekend after next...and its out of satin....don't spose you would happen to know the best sort of stitch to use on this fabric would you? Nay worries if not hun!

All I remember about stitching satin was I never wanted to do it ever again. It never stays where you want it to and slides all over the place. The only advice I can give is tack everything before running it through the machine (something I rarely do usually) and keep the stiches quite small. If you can get access to an overlocker machine overlock every seam...if not try doing french seams . Satin frays loads!

I don't know about rocking... I know I ache! The 12 hour round trip to Liverpool has given my body a distinct ouchy feeling.
Oh yes and remind me to
Toby (mintsauce) next time I see him. My elbow is still buggered! I tried spinning poi today but had to give up after a while because it throbbed so much.
Well I found out today that the Hospital allowed my Uncle to go home yesterday evening. They say there is nothing more they can do for him and that he may as well be in his own home. I guess that means its up to his will power to stay alive now. As he told me on Tuesday that he was ready to meet his maker, I really don't think there is much fight left in him.
I guess it's a hard fact, for those of us that love him, to face, but if he feels it's his time to go then who are we to try to tell him he has to keep fighting. It would only make him feel guilty if we told him to keep fighting and he couldn't do it any more. (I'm not making much sense here am I) I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe it's time that we listened to what he is saying and let him know that we back him in his choices whatever they maybe. I'd love for him to have a blast of gusto and fight on and maybe last up until Christmas (as one Doctor predicted he might). Isn't giving support what you are supposed to do for people you love? Even if their choices cause you pain? Then why is it so damn hard for me to just smile and wish him well on his final trip?
I feel so damn selfish and it's making me sad and mad at myself for being this way

If you have done all the work why not put the cardboard cut out of you in your chair and come out to play. We can juggle and hoop and and and 
and do roly polys and dangle our toes in the river and skim stones and watch all the little fishes and the heron....
