Some of my goth poetry:

AS DARKNESS FALLS

The darkness falls,
like the shroud of death,
our arms have failed us,
we have no breath.

Crying lifes blood,
we look about with sorrow,
haunted by our demons,
we have no tomorrow.

As the darkness falls,
your eyes are blinded,
as darkness falls.

UNTITLED

Lady death fast approaches,
her hair, the essence of midnight,
her lips darker than vitae.
Feel her icy grip upon your throat,
dragging you, dragging you into an abyss
of neverending pain.
A scream escapes your lips,
but it falls on deaf ears.
Your eyes contain terror,
beyond the understanding of the living.
The demons wet thier maw with your essence.
Breeding agony with each slow, slow, slow bite.

A scream escapes your lips.
Your demons smile at your agony.
feeling the razor edge of deaths blade,
you are torn asunder.
Cast away like an unwanted doll,
you see the blind eyes of those around you.
Oblivious to your pain.

Then you settle down to sleep in a darkness,
darker than any living man will ever know

HATRED DESIRE

I am dying here, weeping in darkness:
thirsting through this silent void,
heart so dead and black.

this love so severed,
a blackened abyss,
forgotten;

yet I wish for
your touch so alive.

ALONE IN DARKNESS

the night falls as if slain by the sun, soulless are we.
the understanding for which you sacrifice yourself
flares once, then dies,
devoured by a velvet ebon nothingness.
all hope must sicken and die.

your love is no more.
how could you do this?
demons surround us, crying,
save us from ourselves.

Yis, I know I need help

HEAVEN SHUNNED

Slender beams of accusation enter
this darkened place as I kneel,
always alone, always lost,
frozen here,
waiting.

Accusing forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
rending my naked soul.

Blood on a child's face.

I raise my head, now crying out for
this uncaring fate.

You. Its whats for dinner!

As time passes, you realise all the mistakes you amde and the ones you wish you never did make.

The wave crashing on the beach

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
I once wondered what you are.
Flat feet grounded, I gazed on high
At your tiny beacon in the sky.

A mysterious little point of light,
A twinkling watchman of the night.
But never, ever in my youth
Could I have guessed your real truth.

Now, with my new point of view,
I know that I am skyborne, too.
It’s relative, without a doubt!
I can’t look “up;” but only out!

For somewhere in an alien sky
My sun also shines on high.
And you are just another sun,
Most likely just a boring one.

But do you have companions, too?
Are there worlds that orbit you?
Do they bathe in your bright light?
Do they see day when I see night?

There are things that I still don’t know,
Things that my sight cannot show.
And on those worlds I cannot see
Is someone looking back at me?

In memory of Challenger

A rose may bloom once every spring for years and years unending
But there are thorns there on the stems that winds of change are bending.
And it is just so with the tale that flows from history’s pen
As it writes of heroes’ triumphs and the victories of men.

Into the West did young men ride upon their sturdy steeds,
Braving Mother Nature’s wrath to see what they could see.
And they lit their campfires as dusk began to fall
Yet one black-clad visitor would often deign to call.

Lightning flashes, thunder claps, and in do dark clouds roll.
The human spirit, the quest for truth, exacts its grisly toll.
Those very forces in the soul that fill it with its light
Join these brave adventurers as they journey into night.

But in their loss there is yet hope; their visions do not die.
As new steeds ride on firey trails into the azure sky,
New brave adventurers ride east into the setting sun.
And some might say that twilight falls, but daybreak’s just begun.

The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer-- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.-- Ken Kesey

can you hear
the dark skys falling
to the sound of rain
a cold wind blows
but we feel no pain
we've grown numb
to our feelings
for a span of time
so much easier
than to face our crime
what have we done this time

had the audicity to care
want something better
someone to share
this love

this is our fate
we searched to hard
looked to long
it was not there
I hope it exists
a place we can feel
somewhere we have not looked
yet could it be real
If you find happiness
in these crazy times
let the world know
let your light shine

had the audicity to care
want something better
someone to share
this love

we eat and we drink and we smoke and we try!

Hey wow more poetry of my goth variety:

THE DREAM

Waking from this dream,
I'm drowning, drowning in life's essence.
I reach out with a failing hand.
It cannot grasp the beam of light.
It dies.

Through the darkness,
comes a ray of hope.
Vitae rains from the heavens,
hope exists no more.
Bathing me in blood.
An anguished, tortured scream escapes my lips.
I choke on the essence, as it enters my mouth.
The taste, sweet, yet so perverted.
As if not meant to be tasted.

Alone am I,
Demons in my thoughts.
Wandering on the broken mother,
her essence seeping from her wounds.
Behold says she, for death has come.
And behind him rides the army of Hades.

Falling to the tombstones, I weep.
Blood streaming from my eyes.
A moan escapes the sky.

Then I feel Lady Deaths icy grasp, upon my naked heart.
And I am no more.

Thank you everyone for your contributions to this thread. Now I hope it doesn't die.

Wrote this 1 when I was about 14-15...

Green Moisture

It spreads its way accross my skin,
Pouring itself into my soul.
My outer shell is my only protection
And to it I am an empty bowl.

It begins to nore away at my nerves
And yet I feel no pain,
Sanity is the key you see.
But how can I stay sane?

Inside my veins, it continues the feed,
Alone, as my body is hollowed.
Thinking is merely a distant thought,
and then it's done, and I am swallowed...

...hmmmm....

BROKEN CHILD

The wind shrieks,
the earth moans.
Lightening strikes the highest peak,
I groan.

Blackness surrounds all I see,
the sun is gone, swallowed by a daemon.
A woman looks up,
her hair, black like a raven.
She crys, blood streaming from her sorrowfilled eyes,
looking upon her broken child.

The wind shrieks,
the earth moans.
Lightening strikes the highest peak,
I groan.

Wandering, the lonely mother,
her face, red with life's essence.
She falls, onto a scorched land.
Feeling the icy cold, she looks up,
into the face of Death.

Woe be us, for we are the broken child.
And we are no more

Cheesy one I wrote for my girlfriend:

You see it too, you smile at me,
We beckon for an eternity
Of time, a place for careless minds,
To change, and differ, like passing tides.

True Nature's course I enthrall to thee,
Trust not Fate and lead to she
Who does embark on Summer's play,
And blossoms with the spright of May.

For she is who i dream of here,
Across love's threshold, we shall be near
And then, together, in our own time,
Life starts to write the second line...

[Cue to throw up at my lovydovyness!!!]

A conspiracy of silence speaks louder than words...
