hi there,
hey, is there anyone on HOP who is currently or shortly will be living in holland? just moved back home and i havent found the spinning community yet
spinning on my own is fun, but, ya know, i gotsta find some, umm, colleagues (?).. identify yourselves! im lonely

This is the guy who introduced me to poi many moons ago. Nice picks, it was a cool night. I'm working on th main video of the night aswell, but I've got such a huge amount of footage, it's gonna take me a while.

@WOFT: there aren't any "regular" meets, per se... someone just suggests a gathering on the forum and then people rock up whenever they can.
To find the spinners at central station, you'll see them either spinning with sock poi, or a group of people standing together looking chilled. Anonomatos usually has a fluffy red bag with all his poi goodies in - it's a great marker.
@mot: STUNNING video... wow....

WOFT, if you can't make it tomorrow, Fuero lives in Rotterdam, so maybe you guys can meet up at least - and if Fuero's going tomorrow he can escort you.... Fuero? And if not, follow the smell of lamp oil at the Station Staffs tend to be a giveaway as well....
I'll try to be there tomorrow, but need to get some work done first, not sure if I'll make it on time...

I walked around for 2 1/2 hours yesterday in vondelpark and didn't see anyone ANYWHERE.... were the trains late?

That's all I saw on the forum... and *hangs head in shame* about not finding your number again... *sigh* my bad.
perhaps it just wasn't meant to be. there was a baton juggler at vondelpark though and I think he was juggling 6 or 8 batons... it was very cool to watch
btw... when is next time?

me fine, just been to Rock Werchter, which rocked ofcourse ^.^
Anyhow, I'm going to groningen today, untill the 14th, so I am unavailable to meetings unless they are in Groningen! I've talked with Marc, and there is probably going to be a meeting there with Carobananas, Tony Girl, Marc, and I'm hoping for Brak ;-) and Ezeeckiel to stop by as well
And when I come back I might make it to amsterdam WOFT, but I will mail again as soon as I get back (and you can reach me through Fuero by phone)

I call it 'PluX' (programmable light unit X). It's a ledpoi (I only have 1 so far, and still very sloppy constructed though), running on 3x AAA batteries to power 3 leds (these leds are Luxeon leds and are VERY bright)... one red, one green and one blue led.
Now the funny part: it's fully programmable due a PIC-microchip. This basically means I can program ANYTHING i want... strobes, fades, rainbow-color-changes, you name it.
Here it is, the first Dutch programmable Luxeon poi!
