Welcome to HOP!! I'm a Paddy-Poi-Person also from "the Ford of the Hurdles". And I'm sure DeepSoulSheep will be along shortly to welcome you to the fold
Come on in, sit down, make yourself at home, and tell us a bit about yourself while I go grab you a beer..... or will you have a Bulmers? It is summer after all.....
What kind of poi did you buy, and where, and how did they break? If you're only starting out the best thing to use is socks with tennis/juggling balls/bags of sand/rice stuffed in the ends. Dunnes do some lovely long colourdy ones for a couple of quid. They're great for learning, won't tangle, and they won't break!!

first things first, pink is a necessity, bright fiery pink is da best kinda pink.
faberge, il be havn a bulmers please but not today as im hungover...bleurgh
i got me poi in visuals, liffey st, string just snapped. nice ppl sed no probs replacing them tho. tho im gona just do the socky thang as iv cn it done n it looks pretty! the ones i just bought hav tails n bit complimicated for a wee newbie loike meself...
