At some point I should turn this first post into a proper introduction of me but heck, you guys already know me. I initially wanted to have this just be the details on my pending trip to Scotland... which turned out quite lovely...
Feel free to post what ya' like... Here's the rest of my original post.
[I didn't quite feel right about posting this in Events and Gatherings since it will almost certainly degrade into conversations, insults, and probably me posting things like "Bluecat, where were you?! I waited for three hours?!?!" Also, it's a little cocky to represent myself as an Event.]
YES!!! It's TRUE all you beautiful people! I'll be in the UK this summer for TWO MONTHS! Start boiling the tea! Prepare your arms for BIG HUGS! Practice saying "I can't believe this guy has been spinning poi for three years and he still sucks that badly" in less offensive ways! (You guys didn't do so good last year.) And BY GOD hide all of the beautiful women!!!

Is Everyone crossing the ocean on Friday? It certainly seems like it
I'm going straight home NYC - I get in at 11ish and you'd really be slacking if you'd finished by lunchtime
My incentive for getting bags up stairs is the joy of comfy sofas and cuddly hamsters so I think I'll be just fine

And if they're mean then you get extra kisses.

I prefer to just run west. Since that gives the benefit of longer days and nights as well as moving closer to the speed of light and thereby extending my life due to time dilation.

Offline life is fantastic. Except I think we're being obsessed with finding an upstate cabin/house and fear we will probably drop off the face of the earth completely when we do.
Now I just need to figure out what we are doing with my 8 weeks of vacation. Life is hard.
