Hi, I would like to introduce myself. I’m very new to Poi …… in fact, 6 days new. I was introduced to poi by Gnor and I currently own, in terms of equipment, a pair of overstretched beige socks that contain two tennis balls and a pair of safety glasses (have already whacked myself in the left eye)!
Hope to learn heaps.

Pippin and I are walking to Rivendell but Pippin is way ahead of me and I need to catch up...

Never liked the colour unless it was on a flower and I have lots of those ...... approx. 30 rose bushes. The pink on roses are great, from deep pink to pale pink/white.

I'm female and short (4 foot, 11 and a half inches tall). I use my height to measure the height of a badminton net when I play!
I love fighting with the glaive (knife on a pole) and archery.
I love the Lord of the Rings (movie and book) although I haven't read the Silmarillion. The Walk to Riverdell is a website that encourages walking as a form of fitness. Actually, Gnor and I are doing the walk to Rivendell. We're heading off again friday to a local national park for more walking.
I also love science-fiction (Star Wars, Babylon 5) whether as movies or books (Hyperion by Dan Simmons) and fantasy (Dragon series by Ann McCaffrey, The LiveShip Traders by Robin Hobb), just to name a few.
My favourite colour is blue, followed by red.
I've known Gnor and Gnor's Bill for a long time, Gnor's Bill from university and Gnor from re-enactment. I'm in the same field as Bill but was working in private pathology.
