Hello people of HOP!
I've been here for awhile (my first name 'Ben Acosta' went unused for a few years
) but I'd like to introduce myself.
I'm *obviously* Ben, from Orlando FL, i'll be 22 in August.
I think I'm one of the few glowstringers/poi'est in the this area. If there are anymore spinners around this place we got to get together, I'm tired of the only one spinning
!
I spin glowsticks, ever since I've been 18 but I've been very on and off (mostly off) but I've recently picked it back up.
I also have some pictures of some basic moves here.

I've got 6 votes out of 173 viewings. I guess I'll post the high resolution of the pic that gets the most and best average votes.
A little info.
Other than the first two pictures and my self picture, the rest were taken with a brand new white Garritty stick, and an old blue Garritty stick. Plus somewhere took further away. That is why the blue doesn't come out in some.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy I'll be around here a lot more, than last time!

i checked out your glow pics- very cool! do you get hurt if/when you hit yrself?
i play with simple, non-glowing, non-flaming, homemade cloth poi.

You can't find any blue glowsticks? That's odd... Those are the only ones I buy... Party City carries them, sometimes fye has glowsticks, I know some Spencers carry them... If all else fails, you can always order them online in bulk, ya know

I never seen FYE carry glowsticks, how much do they cost over there?
I'm gonna try to see if an army and navy store near my work carries any blue and/or cheap sticks.
Buying online seems like the best way, but I don't like not seeing what I'm going to get...
Maybe I can get a person to make me one blue LED glowstick!

I wouldn't be surprised if FYE didn't have them.
BTW, Wal-Mart has blue LED Garrity sticks. But they suck.... I wrap really hard, hard enough for the end to pop right off of the stick....
