well me and a couple of my friends are starting a poi crew, we are trying to find a name. well if you could please help us we would aprectiate it..
sum names we thought of but i dont know.

lol.... It's not right to assume that you're NOT gay... so I was just being diplomatic. so don't roll your eyes at me, young man.
The thing with your crew name is that it has to reflect who you are. Tell us more about yourself and the members and we might be able to help more

we have a bunch of different moves,such as, wraps,poi,crossers, and more
we preform mostly rock and techno
we would like to do professional preformances

How about "Firestorm"? It's a name I came up with for some fantasy troupe of mine that probably will never happen. Having said that, if I want the name back in 10 years, I want you to give it up. K?

well the name we have for our website and well our little collective.
i think crew or troupe is a little bit much to be calling ourselves a bit of a grand name for what we are.
were calling our website and probably ourselves fields of fire.
the area we live in is called forest fileds, we practice on the forest fields rec, which is a big field and we play with fire.
i think its spot on, go for something like that
my original signature was tooo long.

i don't know whether its the smae in america but here in england the whole 'crew' thing is all - i dunno what the word is.......overdone? the whole thing of having a 'crew' is like being a rock hard townie holding a cig inbetween ur finger and thumb because you think it looks cool. I think 'group' would be more effective. When i saw 'fire bois' first it made me think of Blazin' Squad (an english CRAP "rnb" act consiting of numerous pre-pubesant things trying to be....well famous) I think a more softer name would be much nicer.

The name of John Voldel's professional company, and I think his stage name, is a version of Firestorm. I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry Mike
Whatever you do choose, do a net search for it before you adopt it, to make sure someone else isn't already using it.
And if you are trying to be professional poi spinners in Texas, you need to talk with some of the many that are already there. There is the possibility you can join with some of them. Texas just passed some really harsh laws regarding professional fire performing that are going to make it ***really*** hard to pull of legally. HoP member Arashi might be of more service in that area.
