theres also tollcross have a circus skills thingy from 7 till 9 in the community school £1 for concessions £2 otherwise
EUJS! Edinburgh University Juggling Club! wednesday in chaplaincy centre from 7 till 9 The 10th will be the last meeting of spring term
and We should mention that's there's a new juggling/spinney thing on saturday at the FOREST CAFE 2till5 with one of those hours usually devoted to a workshop shouldn't we
dunno why no-ne ever said before...
mind you theres not much to say... cept its cool!

It's a streetlight stix from neon husky! 6 foot long. (!) It rocks, but I need to find some weights for the end, and some cricket bat tape for a grip...

Stuuuuu-pid postman couldn't find the address...
You may play, but be warned, it's very uniformly weighted.... Not sooo good for contact till I attach something like pepper pots to either end to weight them. Plus I need some kind of clear grip, plus one of the streetlights has a distinct greenish tendency at one end.... Ahhh, but it's HERE! AT LAST....

Yes, it does indeed rattle. But I've decided I like it. It's incredibly good looking, even if it does rattle.

im missing all teh fun, and cos i suck i cant come to teh camping trip, so you are all safe for another few months!

ill be sparking them over the weekend in london (but prob wont be abl eto wait that long

Friggin rules about huggin!
Ok, I'm gonna make up my own hug. Which will involve one or all of the following:
a) running
b) blindness
c) lifting
d) spinning
e) cashmere
f) soap
mech - I do not understand most of your postage.
You have made two staffs and a set of rope poi.
One staff has wick on it and is for fire. The other staff is for contact.
Instead of lighting them, you are going to 'spark' them?
is this the gist?

Anyway, not practising stix today, tooo cold. Gonna go to gymanticstication and do bluecats funny turning capoeira handstand all up in their heads.
Then I am gonna do it on a park bench if I get it good. ( Damn parrrralel bar pirouettes! )

Funny turning Capoeira Handstand? Describe with Diagrams so I can practice before I return.
Very boring here in England, saw old friends and watched videos, but miss random pub socials and juggling (been trying to practice staff, but horrid weather).

He was teaching us an 'under' pirouette. (I think under is the term) I just asked my gymnastics teacher about it. (Gordon)
It's just like what you're thinking. Handstand, pick up one hand, turn 180 degrees, put hand down. Repeat.
Thing is, you can move the hand you pick up away from you and round, forward in other words, or bring it closer to you, (the direction your chest is facing) and turn that way. And that is the under variant.
Also: I now know the names of pommel horse maneuvers...!

yeah greg was doing crazy vaulting nonesense at the weekend it was on the long box and was a jump off a trampette land in a handstand then roll to a sitt lift feet then rollup on to handstand again at far end of box then spin off to mats
if that makes sense
he also was doing big vaults across while screaming to frighten the bejesus outa anyone new who came into the room

hmmm, well I'll talk to Johnny and see when he is coming back. (Cos he is mostly.) He has teh job in glasgow and he is staying there all this week, starting yesterday. But if he comes back before you leave, I'm sure we could chuck you out.
