It can't happen on Hallow'een cuz that's The Spercular Ball/Hop Day 2004 meeting day so you'll have to think of another time. If we're cmaping I reckon the sooner the better for weather options. Maybe late september? Weekend of the 24th will be sunny...how do I know this...cuz I say so biggrin

Currently own a 1969 Kombi Van,(2nd owner from new) great for cruizing the festival scene etc etc and a restored 1961 beetle. Will send picys at some stage.
Thats a funky kombi in your photo gallery, dont see to many like that over here in NZ.

heh heh, nah this is intro's, we don't get much spinning talk in this thread! wink

Sounds like a cool collection you got going on there, I love the 69 van cuz it still has those cool half moon air vents and cab step bumpers. The picture in my gallery isn't my van (incase you thought it was) it was one I saw on volkszone.com but I couldn't resist posting it up. I've got a 79 van with a genuine 39000 miles (erm...bout 62000km's) on the clock of which I'm the third owner and a 69 bug that's gone round the clock about 12 times and is slammed down real low at the front (so much so I had to trim the wings up to fit the wheels in biggrin) It's full on rat-look covered in primer with custom bumpers and a mahoosive stereo for my favourite tunes. I got some splitty lights and wings to go on it and some new coilover suspension mounted to an adjustable beam to go on at somepoint aswell.

Neither car has moved for about a year as the bug is undergoing its front end re-build and the engine in the van is dead so needs lots of fixing. They were both supposed to be done this summer but I've been to busy spending my money on frivolous things like my mortgage and food and travelling round the country meeting spinners biggrin Wish I could have been driving around in one of my dubbs, people keep expecting me in a beetle but I always turn up in GeorgeB's little peugeot ubblol
