Hey there, my name is Grimgirl and I'm new........I think anyway. You never can tell. So I've been slinging poi for about a year and as far as I know, I'm the only one here in Tallahassee Fl that does. so I find myself here in hopes to chat with others and learn what I can....and oh, I had to find somewhere to hide from those pesky purple squirrels...there everywhere!
So now I have introduced myself and hope that you guys are gentle, it's my first time

Thanks. Well, I like to run around and pretend to be sane most of the time.
I also like RPG’s & LARP’s and of course I like fire. I love walks on the beach and I prefer blonds and redheads! 
I REALLY don’t like stupid people; they annoy me and those that are obsessed with bible beating (I’m from the south!) I hate stupid drivers that obviously have gotten their drivers license from a box of cereal. And oh, I REALLY don’t like doctors! I have Crohn’s Disease so that makes life a whole lot more fun. I refuse to spin (or anything else) when I’m on pain med’s or not feeling well. That could be bad for others and me too. But despite what it sounds like, I’m really a fun person to be around. I find humor in everything just about. 
Purple squirrels are fun too. I’ve been saying that for years. And if you haven’t noticed, once you get me talking you can’t shut me up!
Oh, BTW, if you notice any misspelling on my part it’s because I’m LysDexic! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink…..

i'm normally not this late in welcoming the newcomers but i am kent for the weekend and have been hounded for being online everytime i attempt to do so. since most everyone is gone at the moment, i decided to sneak on feel free to check out my thread and say hi...but be warned, it can get r-rated in there

That's OK. I think I hate doctors more than anyone here. And I'm going to be one in 18 months.
Sorry to hear about the Crohn's. My nephew has that. I hope yours isn't too severe.

I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back to you guys yet. I had to go stay with my brother at the hospital. He almost died and I put my foot up his ass because he was supposed to go to my show on sat. I’m really excited about it. It's my first one here in Tally and the first one since my last operation. I'm going to kick some ass and have fun doing it.
and of course there will be lots of pic's.Thank you all for being kind.... I don't hate nurses there cool most of the time. And it's nice to know that there are a lot of people just like me in the world.
Oh, the squirrels they say hi too and thank you for giving them a place to hang out.

I'm partial to a bit of shadowrun myself with maybe a bit of torg occasionally.
Unfortunately, I've never gotten around to playing a LARP, although I know a fair number of people who play regularly. I've just been busy everytime there's one near enough for me to get to.
D'you reckon the power of the 12 foot squirrels could be harnessed to pull a chariot? That'd just be cool
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I play anything and everything. I don’t like 3ed D&D but I love the white wolf games and I LOVE paranoia…..must stay happy…happy pills good. I like shadowrun …have you ever played Earth Dawn? It’s the precursor to shadowrun. It is my all time favorite RPG.
I’m really good with a boffer weapon too…some say WAY too good. Yep, that’s right!
I’m a geek…a big one! But that’s ok…I have 12ft purple squirrels and I’m bent on taking over the world! I think it would be a better place if I ruled it. The purple squirrels would be my enforcers and the infidels would be like nuts to them….and they would shove as many as they could into little bitty tree holes to save for winter. And yes they can be harnessed to pull a chariot. That was a good idea..Thanks.

I have indeed played Earthdawn, it's a great game. The one problem I have with it is the inflexibility of the class based character system, but I have that problem with a fair number of games.
During the campaign I played through recently, I was playing a T'skrang swordmaster, which was fun. We played it from first circle up to fifth before finally taking out a horror (only just though)
Er.. I'm going to be quiet now, in case non-players start thinking I'm strange

I used to play Vampire, both Masquerade and Dark Ages. Started on D&D and Warhammer as a kid. Haven't played in ages, probably cos i'm always outside burning things and getting moved on by les flics.
