Hey all,
I'm new but not new..... i dont get to post much!
as i hadnt got my intro posted from the old board thought i would start a new one!
Thanks to Dentrassi for the lemming i've nicked for my pic!
anyways, i've now been doing poi for 4-5months and made sure it was one of the first things i did in 2004 last night!!!!
hopefully i should be going to either Auckland in NZ or Perth in AUS in july for a year, more likely Auckland i think....
at the moment i'm at my parents in kent, but i'm back off to uni next week,
(very annoying cos i been reading bout lots of peeps meeting in sevenoaks.... and thats really close to me!!!!)
anyway i hope you all are having loads of fun,

eek..... so so so humid.... not a place for wearing rings i've found.... walked out the airport and bang... glasses even steamed up! its amazing
staying in such a nice place - its amazingly posh for me... but i cant stay another night so must make myself get up and use the facilities in the morning!
need sleep now.... really bad.... its been way over 24hrs of awakeness....
miss you all....

singapore has been good to me today.... although my feet really hate me for walking so far....
so much amazing food - i tried chicken rice today -
i'm drinking so so much, buy one chilled drink...walk...time for another one! body doesnt understand!
seen so many amazing temples and people and markets and stuff
hmmm....
met a brilliant street performing group, acro, spining pots, juggling, hats, balencing, staff.... spoke to one of the kids but he didnt speak english, hope he kinda understood!
erm thats about it....

... in other kinda un related news... my Titanium three piece staff came today! just have to find a way to to drill a hole into the titanium rod to attach the kevlar...

last day in borneo today.... its been so lovely but kinda lonely too... really missing people,
seen so many new things and lots of primates including proboscis monkeys and orang utans! and cool pitcher plants,
got so sunburnt.... am really brown but tis sore and started to peel... yuckky.... got real bad dehydration too which wasnt so fun but i hardly ever go swimming and hot water and perfect beach was worth it
today i'm very slow and trying to force myself to keep exploring and not hide away in a cafe!
dah.... cant believe i'll be in the uk so soon! wanna walk down queen street (aucks) to my favourite spot on the harbour and get annoyed at the cars and go for coffee.... hmmm.... and i'd love to come visiting you all again...

Probably silly to say, re: being turned down from a unit- was the email the result of appealing? I've had a class where people just come in anyway, despite the fact that they're over-enrolled.. they attend hoping someone drops out..

its all fine will just search for another unit when i'm back
i've been having the most amazing staff spinning practise with tau neutrino over here and so am all smiles again,
in complete denial about going home tho.... if i think bout it too much start feeling sick through fear or something.... just finished packing but hasnt sunk in

there's always two sides i think the kindness of people around me must have rubbed off.... and i wouldnt want anyone to be at the end of my nasty side so its hidden away....
so strange too be back.... i'm at my parents again now....
having said i thought i changed everyone here thinks i'm exactly the same.... i'm beginning to feel like they're right which is kinda sad cos i had hoped i'd changed for the better
realising that there are alot of people from my last year that i wont hear from much if at all again which is sad.... especially as they mean the world to me but they have their own lives to get on with
lots of people have moved away here now too... but anyway
a week with no internet or mobile up in scotland with my parents and brother was only just bearable but its amazingly beautiful up there
my family cant wait to get rid of me again i think!
coming back through london this morning was definately a shock to the system! it seems like some things i'm seeing for the first time but they've been described to me really well in the past.... dah that probably made no sense
quite a few things have changed... so surreal
i havent got a flat, or even contacted the people i'm ment to be living with... i'm phone-less as O2 cut me off while i was away.... but i'm sure i'll get round to sorting all that stuff soon....
hmmm....
i think i should stop ranting now
haven't been getting any sleep so can i use that as an excuse?

tau - flight was diverted to glasgow not heathrow cos of BA strike but it worked out better for me so all's good, love my glow poi.... make real pretty photos
