Pardon my naievty (and possbile bad spelling) but what is 420? I gathered it's anti-war, but why 420? What happened on the April 20th? I always thought 4:20 is Dope related (Hence all the clocks in Pulp Fiction being stopped there)....Us Brits, eh? Where would you be without us?....Still in England...

To clear up misconceptions, 420 is NOT a police code. There are many urban legends about 420, most of them untrue. 420 was in the words to a grateful dead song, and even earlier in a relatively unknown band.yeah, it's dope related, but there are lots of other things associated with it...as for putting this in the antiwar thread, well, i would of.. but i doubt many people will scroll through seven pages of bickering, just to find this link.anyway..peace.------------------~whoosh whoosh whoosh~

FYI~~~4/20 is known as the pot smoking day, basicly the reason for ths is as rl said it was spoken of in agreatfull dead song, but it is also the day that marijuana was "illegalized", so that day is used as a form of rebellion by all of the bud smokers. nothing more than a date. o yeah FYI~~it was also the "infamous" ass hole known as adolf hitlers b-day. i hate that guy what a sick puppy he was!!! well gotta jet!!p.l.u.r.r.xtremravr
