I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

so i started reading dune the other day.

twas largely down to the fact that if i didn't read it soon, i would have already read it in a jumbled form due to the amount of quotes you've posted around here wink biggrin

just finished book one (that is the first section of dune the book that is called book one: dune rolleyes).

i'm kinda glad i didn't read this when my dad first recommended it as i would never have appreciated it as much as i do now
as it happens i was 14 and dealing with an iain (m) banks addiction at the time so i didn't miss it at all...

anyway, i had to tell someone cos the sh1t just hit the fan and everyone died and stuff and now paul has gone all uber-human seeing the future and i'm scared.

in other words, 'thank-you' for the constant hints as to how good this book is - you weren't wrong!

take care o that leg matey but i have noticed for someone who limps so well you seem to be spending very little time on the internet...?

Hey hi guys!
funnily enough big injury maketh me surf the net less not more.
I think it's cus i saw online communities as an extension of my social life, not an alternative, so when the social life took an injury related dive, so did my webness.

twirling is in heart, soul and squishy irken internal organs, i am in a lifelong love affair with it and it is never far from my thoughts. weavesmiley
(for that matter I love hippyness too, and hope to one day make a website about both wink )

what's news from this ol corner of the woods? I started limping wihout crutches in a moment of confusion at Meredith music festival - A happy milestone the result of my forgetting that i couldn't and hadn't walked for months. Ima required to undergo massive physio (gym + hydro) and am sadly told that my agility won't be quite as bendy as i ultimately heal. worse still, i am advised against acrobatic twirlness/capo/gymnastics for at least 2 years after my injury. That is a lot of time for conditioning to atrophy and training to evaporate.
As it stands, i can do little but stand.
I've just been working heaps and I'm about to embark on my summer break on tuesday and hope to limp back into the swing of things then.
Being bedridden for so long has killed my endurance - attending earthcore sapped so much strength that i was deathly ill of the flu for a week (traversing the bush in crutches after months of indoors inactivity helped define my limitations.)

I still love vietnamese mint. yum. peace

g'day gnorc, I'm afraid that if you want to watch, it may be hard to clean your eyes afterwards.

Blair, you rawk the bus man, thanks for putting a very happy face to a name! I can only pray that i have hair as wicked as yours one day!

Shadow steppin and pounce, I am just a perfectly normal filthy earth-monkey. You have no need to suspect me ...

Ade, so very nice to hear from you again mate - your llama food will appease the llama gods, who have absolutely no affiliation whatsover with the cult of the Alpaccas.
None at all.
ok just a bit.
but at least llamas don't spit.

:runs out to check: confused
