Oh so majorily slow. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm at work and getting into other programs and sites, I would have thought something was wrong with my system.

Yep...me too!

I seem to be just having problems in general today!
Did somthing really stupid....
Went in to access my course site to start a new term and it wouldn't recognize my log-in info...started to get really upset...called tech and in the middle of the call remembered that I had changed my password...oops...blonde moment!!!

Got it all straightened out, thankfully and got all my work done for the day.

Had a friend give me a scanner...no softwear to install so that it will work...tried stored software but doesn't seem to be able to find the right thing!

Wheeeeeee...are we having fun yet!!!???

Thanks!!! I spent 8 hours working on my place yesterday. Just getting the grass cut, trimming around the house, trimming wayward tree limbs, pulling weeds out of my flower beds...
Very tiring, but also very rewarding when you start to see all of your hard work start to take shape...was rather neglected over the summer cause of busy life and just too freakin' hot.
Was lovely yesterday...in the upper 60's (that's farenheit) all day long.....even lit a fire in my fire circle out back...now just have to clean up all of the piles of cut grass and weeds that were left behind once they dry out enough to make it a little easier.....then can have another fire!!!!!!!!

There are several things that I miss about living out in the country, massive yard work isn't one of them though. But then the last time I lived out we had to make sure that all of that stuff was taken care of because of fire hazards.

I always make sure to be careful.....never when the weather has been really dry and keep a close eye, too.

The first time that you see a piece of property go up in flames because the owner didn't keep their grass cut, you see the need of watering what you need green and keeping the other stuff trimed tight. I've seen fires move so fast that it doesn't even touch the trees, but then I've seen whole pieces of property left with nothing but burnt sticks in the ground.

Grandpa was the firemarshall of a little town in Central Oregon. It was so small that we had a volunteer fire department. The year and a half that I spent there I saw a lot of action. Funny how you get pulled into fighting fires when Grandpa calls and says come running. I even remember a bunch of us getting pulled out of school to go fight a fire.
