Well, this is all coming together nicely. Though I've got no idea how we are going to organise the money - Pounce, do you think you could set up a bank account in your name, a new one, then PM the details to anyone who wants to contribute? Makes more sense than me putting it in my name, though I'm quite happy to keep track of who put in what and so forth. As there'll be no large amounts of money in it at any one time, should be no problems sending info over the net.

If you won't be able to make it for the 9th, then decide now before we all get carried away. Otherwise, we need to get cracking soon. There are still flights available, but it's a popular time to travel. Also, we can arrange for you to be picked up from Heathrow, but will you be able to get to the airport in Denver easy enough?

See you soon honey. kiss

so i already posted this in the events thread but i will here too. i'm wondering if perhaps there will be another party later down the line i could make it to instead. i'm just thinking then we'd have more time to get moneys together and i'll have money by mid-january to contribute myself as well. plus that's the first weekend back from my vacation and if i do this, i'm gonna want to take at least one day off so it's not AS much of a whirlwind trip. just some thoughts smile although i know spitfire will want me there that weekend wink hrm.

i still can't believe everyone is serious about this.

ooh, not a bad idea joe. like i said, i really want to make it, but i'm wondering if it's truly possible. cause i have no money myself until mid-january. and yes i can get to the airport just fine here in denver. so that's 340 pounds roundtrip yes? if we get the money together, i certainly can take an extra day off work, i just figured it'd be easier later on. but i guess in reality it would be better cause school doesn't start back up until a few weeks later so i'll be less busy anyhow. i dunno, i'm open for suggestions.

Um, I've missed the point a bit there...

Mr Neuron... the current figure is £175 out of £340. Time for a new status bar methinks... eek

Pounce, do you think you could set up an account for us to transfer money into, or clear out an old one so that you can hand out details from it, as soon as possible? If we don't sort it out in time, we can send money back to some people and you can put the rest toward coming next time?

ya i could set up an account but i think i'd have to have money to put into it first. so perhaps you'd want to? plus then you can pick a bank there since i don't know what banks you have there. i think that would make access much more easier?
